Kids can pray as much as they want with friends or individually at recess, lunch break, between classes, etc.

That's the same reason a bible or Qur'an in the highschool library isn't an issue. No teacher or other public employee is supposed to use it to lead classes in bible study.

While the district did not outright ban The Bible from all its schools, and not under new laws governing pornographic material, the book was reportedly removed from elementary and middle schools in the district "due to vulgarity or violence". An appeal to reverse that decision has been launched.

For many in Utah govt., it was the first time they were actually forced to read the bible.

There are no religious classes there, and I've never seen a bible even tucked under a student's arm. I've never specifically looked for a bible in the media center, but I'll look Monday and I'll bet a thousand bucks I won't find one. This doesn't bother me in the least. Pretty sure we're not graduating the next pope, or the next Martin Luther, but these kids can do some mean calculus.

Dementia is not a good way to go. It's an end I want to avoid so studying people like you, Terry, Truth Detector and the like helps educate me on the warning signs. There's a reason why the top demographic for suicides are....wait for it...elderly Euro-American males.
