Anyone else sick of breast cancer awareness month?

There you go again bragging about how smart and successful you are. You have the vocabulary of a 7-year-old, the mentality of a 6-year-old, and the thinking skills of a 5-year-old. So what are you basing these claims of intellectual acuity on? Whoever told you that IQ was measured like a golf score and lower was better, lied.

Oh my. Classic! Very nice!!! best post today! (so far)

I actually agree that the pink is overdone in the NFL. It's become a competition to see who can sprinkle on the most pink. The thing is, I find it hilarious entertainment, and look forward to October football every year.

If I were a QB, I would come out for press conferences in a pink suit (even shoes, tie, etc.) and team cap. :D

Yes because we should leave something as important as research up to the group that can't deliver mail on time.

Very common sense

Fine, but the Government is not doing the research, they just need to take the money angle, aka patent medicine, out of the equation, so the entire World can use whatever they want from the research because it would all be online. I honestly believe that when it comes to Cancer, which affects every family that I have ever known, we need to get ur done, and not worry about who controls the medicine patents and who makes the big bucks. And yes, the ObamaCare website is not running, but no one likes ObamaCare, but in the case of Cancer research, everyone would "pitch" in, regardless of the money motive usually associated with medical research. There should never be a patent on a Cancer cure, and that is my point. Small Pox affected someone in my family way back and she barely survived it, but they eventually cured Small Pox, and not for money, it was for glory. The Government would help support all researchers, so that money would not be a problem. They Private Sector have been working on a cancer cure for probably 70 years and all those Radiation Treatments, and Chemo Therapies just run up huge hospital bills, it is time for a change, and who has the most money to back this massive Cancer Cure endeavor, The Federal Government does.

So you want companies to spend millions on research and let everyone have the results?

Hmmm, that sounds like socialism to me.

Really. Were you not aware?

Who isn't aware?

Looks to me like the person who is always telling us how "smart" he is can't even remember or understand the title of his own thread. The question you asked was not "are you aware..."? It was: Anyone else sick of breast cancer awareness month? Those are two entirely different questions and I would have thought that someone who nearly every other post is telling us how smart he is would have never made such a puerile and thoughtless mistake as this? Maybe you aren't as "smart" as you think you. But some of us weren't fooled for a minute. Conservatives all have trouble with thinking, that is why they are conservatives. New thoughts scare them. So they stick with the things that have already been though and have quotes from greedy bastards who have long been dead and have no relevance in the 21st century, in which pro-growth capitalism is the only game on the globe and even the last vestige of socialism in any form, China, is busy building like mad and expects nearly 400 million peasants to move from the farms to the newly built cities between 2000 and 2030. On short, the threat of socialism is another meaningless right wing shibboleth. But I wouldn't expect anyone who can't remember what question they asked for 10 minutes to know much about what is going on in the wider world.

yes it's obviously a bit self congratulatory given how many other types of cancers (and more deadly cancers) there are out there.

I guess I'll cast my lot in with the member every single person hates on this one lol.

I mean it doesn't make me mad and I don't mind it but I would be lying if I haven't rolled my eyes while watching football and seeing the pink shoes/gloves and towels etc and everything else. sorrrrrrry.

Breast cancer really hits that sweet spot for popular activism because it's deadly enough for people to pay attention, but still allows enough survivors to stick around to talk about having lived through it and share their own personal experiences about it and spread the word etc.

Pancreatic cancer? That will fucking drop you dead in 18 months tops. Not many pancreatic cancer survivors to tell their stories.

You are discussing this from a state of complete ignorance.

First of all without patent protection there would be no research.

Secondly, you think the gobblement should run a cancer website in the face of Obama failing to build out his own website for his own healthcare plan

Thirdly, you do not want research being done at the whims of politicians handing out money. That will do nothing but stifle research. This notion of everyone "pitching" in is childish blabbering.

Fourthly, we already have cures for cancer. People are cured of cancer all the time. Many cancers share a high cure rate. Some cancers have an abysmal cure rate. There are many factors that go into curing cancer that don't involve treatments, such as the condition of the patient. You obviously don't know what you are talking about and are suffering from libtard syndrome where you are speaking from a state of emotion and not fact and science.

Stop it before you hurt yourself

If you don't see how the two are linked, maybe you are as big of a dumb twat as Tekkychick?

Those are two entirely different questions and I would have thought that someone who nearly every other post is telling us how smart he is would have never made such a puerile and thoughtless mistake as this? Maybe you aren't as "smart" as you think you.

You sound very insecure about your own intelligence.

So you start a post deriding two linked questions and you morph into some screed about your love of communist china?

Fuck off twat. If you don't like how I post you have choices you dumb cunt. Maybe you are a glutton for punishment? Maybe like Tekkychick you have a crush on me?

Either way, you are boring and trite, but I don't mind smacking you around like my little bitch. I have plenty of them in my harem

your stupid and you HATE your fellow Americans

fuck you very much

No one cares what shit creeps out of your pie hole

The Government would compensate all of them. I just want to take the "Greed" factor out of this. If a family was stranded on the freeway, would you try to help them without charging them a fee? The reason that the private sector has not really succeeded is because they want to keep everything secret, so that if they find a real cure, they will hit the "jackpot", I say shuck that, we need a cure and we need a cure now. The cure for cancer supersedes anything else that I can think of. PS, I am still a Conservative, but I do see some Liberal views as reasonable like women's choice with certain criteria about late term abortions, but gun grabbing not being one of them. Conservatism with a heart is the way to go, it would be God's way.

Damn straight I congratulate myself everyday for having survived, loss of my breast, six operations, cellulitis, mouth sores, dry skin, hair loss, nausea, bone ache that would make Superman cry, and insomnia.

Cancer is not for the weak, my heart goes out to those that go through all this and still don't make it.

Your other choice was dying. You should be grateful to the medical community and drug companies for making it possible for you to be living.
