Ok, so tell us how "normal" it is to put yourself in harms way to protect people you do not know? How "normal" is it to jump out of airplanes, shoot other humans, or the myriad of other things the military does??

"Normal" ain't part of the equation.

How "moral" is it to kill people? So "moral" isn't part of the equation.

How "healthy" is being shot at, being tear gassed, having explosives hidden to blow you up, or all the other things that happen in a war zone?

I cared so much about the future of my country I served in the military. You on the other hand do nothing more than TELL people what a great american you. You talk the talk but have NEVER walked the walk. Yet you are arrogant enough to say that only you and webb are the great americans and those on here that actually served and KNOW what that means don't care about the future. You are a chickenhawk.

Article 134 deals with adultery- "clearly unacceptable conduct, and it reflects adversely on the service record of the military member."

Article 125 directly states that Sodomy is illegal, even mentions that the slightest penetration is enough to subject you to court martial.

925. ARTICLE 125. SODOMY

(a) Any person subject to this chapter who engages in unnatural carnal copulation with another person of the same or opposite sex or with an animal is guilty of sodomy. Penetration , however slight, is sufficient to complete the offense.

(b) Any person found guilty of sodomy shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.

Of course they do. Other articles changed the same way were against black people serving in the same battalions as whites, etc.

The reality is, the UCMJ can be changed with a stroke of a Presidential Pen and without need to make new civilian laws. Obama needs to man up and make decisions.
