Should we repeal "Don't ask, don't tell?"

Should we repeal this atrocity?

Dude, I voted:
N

O

That slow enough for you?
Yes, I can read that. Perhaps YOU'RE the one with poor reading comprehension. To wit, you said:

Because unlike you I care about the future of this country.
Which was in response to what Soc wrote:

Since when EVER does voting to keep DADT make you a better american than someone that served their country.
So I'll ask again, how does voting to keep DADT, as in not change, remove, alter, or amend, harm or negatively affect our country?

Dude you're mixed up. Again, I voted to keep DADT.

Because it ain't normal, moral, natural or healthy: its queer. And as long as you don't act on your urge to butt-fuck your buddy, you can stay in the military and be legal as all hell.

I can't imagine not having served in the military.

I spent my life learning from those men in my family, even the worst of them, that so many good people had given their lives for my freedom that giving just four years was a minimal sacrifice.

I hit 17, I graduated and not only did I need to escape my house, but I always knew that before I hit college I'd serve in the military. My grandfather wouldn't have ever forgiven me if I let that time pass without giving that part of my life for others.

I feel the same boss. It's impossible to imagine what I'd do without having served. If only my grandpa was around to have seen it.

The fact is Damo I wish I had served. In fact I think all able bodied high school graduates should. But I was influenced by other things back then, things that do not please me now, and one can't change history.

Now there is truth to that. Regrets suck.

You must be slow. Maybe this will make it more clear:

Y

E

S

That slow enough for you?

You don't have to serve in the armed forces to be a great American. That said, those who have served, especially during any armed conflict are due our immense gratitude and are certainly entitled to a unique honor among us.

Even though I personally think you are a misogynistic pig...you are still worthy of the respect of a man who has worn the uniform.

You confuse serving with serving in the armed forces, which is not something I siad at all. Admittedly it could be taken that I inferred it.

No, I made the assumption, though I must say then that your question seems silly. All American's who engage in honest pursuits serve their country no matter the job.
