How Much Does Tesla Maintenance Cost? Joey wets panties

Tesla Finally Gets The Luxury Interior It Deserves, But It Will Cost You $29,995

One of the most often heard complaints about Tesla vehicles is the interior looks cheap for a luxury car. When you compare it to the interiors from the Mercedes-Benz EQS or the Porsche Taycan, the complaints are not without merits. Well, Tesla has finally decided to address the issue with the help of its next door neighbor, Unplugged Performance.

Shitty car finishes at luxury car prices...

That must be why everyone is buying them. When are you going to but one, terry?

Tesla Reports Record Revenue for 2022, With 1.31 Million EVs Sold

Tesla sold more cars and made more money than ever, despite its average transaction price falling.

Tesla's finished 2022 on a tear, bolstered by recent price reductions for its stable of electric sedans and SUVs. The automaker's full-year 2022 earnings statement, released at the close of market Wednesday, revealed it delivered 405,278 electric cars in the fourth quarter -- up from 343,830 deliveries in the previous quarter. This brings Tesla's total deliveries in 2022 to 1.31 million cars, which is a record high for the brand and 40% growth year-over-year, but also just short of its own goal of 1.4 million deliveries.

In Tesla's earnings release, it notes that the average sale price for its vehicles has "generally been on a downward trajectory for many years." The automaker reduced prices by up to 20% on its lineup of electric cars late last year.

I've had my Tesla Model Y LRDM for two years and my maintenance costs include $10 for windshield washer fluid. That's it.
Not sure why this makes the MAGA morons wet their panties but it sure is fun to watch.

Lyingfish gets info from dishonest and crazy sites. Then makes a meme out of it, She is not seeking knowledge and the truth, but ferreting out any site that backs her slant.

Car And Driver Not Happy With Cost Of Tesla Model 3 Maintenance

"While some are reporting that moving to a Tesla Model 3 from a gas car has brought them savings, particularly on maintenance, it seems not everybody is on board. Car and Driver (C&D) has been running a long term Model 3 for over 30,000 miles now and its most recent update, the publication specifically points out "actual savings in service costs is turning out to be quite minimal."

In fact, they say the savings they observed were only slightly better than two other ICE vehicles that they were running in parallel."

Your batteries are degrading so the value of your car is depleting too. When your car breaks, and it will, you will have to take it into a dealer for repairs dealers are have some of the most expensive mechanics around. So buckle up its coming. I have a 2011 Lincoln MKX that is a spare car now that I'm saving to my niece when she gets 16 to give to her. It has been in the shop once for new plugs 100k tuneup. Tesla loonies crap their panties.

It's why I have LyinBitch on IGNORE.
It's so nice to not have to interact with the riff-raff scum on this forum.

"According to RepairPal, the average Tesla maintenance cost is $832 per year. That compares to an average of $652 per year for all car models sold in the United States. Depending on which services your Tesla needs, you may end up spending much more than the average car owner on yearly maintenance needs.

As of 2021, Tesla remains a new kid on the block in the automotive space. Due to this, little data is available concerning Tesla’s overall reliability and its average cost of ownership. Complicating matters further is the fact that Tesla models lack many components usually found in cars with internal combustion engines.

Because so many Tesla vehicle parts are unique and difficult to find, expect to spend more than your average driver on Tesla maintenance costs. On top of this, luxury car brands like Tesla tend to charge premium prices for their vehicle parts."

"Tesla Average Reliability
Though not much information exists yet about the overall reliability of Tesla models, early results aren’t encouraging. In the J.D. Power 2021 U.S. Vehicle Dependability StudySM, Tesla ranked 30th of 33 car brands for overall reliability. That’s better than only Jaguar, Alfa Romeo, and Land Rover among all automakers across the country."

You also have to go to a Tesla service provider where you can go to a much wider variety of providers for ICE vehicles or do-it-yourself. Monopolies are inherantly expensive.

Not to mention damaged EV's have to be stored outside with space around them due to battery fires.

I don't know about the reliability of your sources. MAGA morons lie profusely.
All I can tell you is that my maintenance costs over two years has been $10 for windshield washer fluid.

Sorry to disappoint you guys, ColicGuy and LyinBitch.

Has nothing to do with the topic dumbass.

When Electric and hybrid vehicles were first available, most people bought them as luxury or novelty items.

Just about every family owns a novelty car, whether it be a sports car, or antique, hot rod, RV, off-road etc.

EV's and hybrids are really not just concept cars anymore though. Today, you have to really try to decide what best fits your needs, before spending 30 -50k on a new automobile.

It may serve you best to buy a hybrid or electric car in today's world. Then again, it may not. It would be stupid to buy or not buy one, just to make some stupid and unwise political score with your buddies.

EVs don't need as much maintenance: Here are key differences

https://apple.news/AKbuSyyOtRSCLtoU3aJOMvA

EVs don't need oil changes and other maintenance-related things that gas-powered vehicles do. Tim Levin/Insider; Pininfarina
Gas-powered vehicles require maintenance like oil changes and more.
EVs are mechanically simpler and more electronic, requiring less routine work.
Still, there are key nuances to EV maintenance that drivers should know.
Taking your car to the shop will look a lot different if you drive an EV versus a gas-powered vehicle.
EV drivers can say goodbye forever to oil changes and various other common gas-drivetrain maintenance responsibilities. Tesla has advertised its vehicles with that, touting them as "eliminating the need for service."

It should be noted that all passenger cars today, petrol or electric, are unibody or exoskeleton designs.

While their crush zones make them more survivable in certain kinds of collisions,
modern cars are virtually irreparable after any kind of serious collision.
They are completely demolished.

Environmental issues aside, the transition from body-on-frame to unibody was a MORE radical change than petrol to electric.
I love my body-on-frame vintage car., thirsty for expensive premium fuel as the little bitch may be.

Tesla Reliability And Repair Costs - The True Story

"Tesla may have claimed its fame by being the first big hitter in electric automobiles, but hype doesn't always align with reality. Teslas are consistently rated high in customer satisfaction, but after several years of low ratings from top authorities in the industry, their reliability is undoubtedly in question. J.D. Power and Consumer Reports both rank Tesla at the bottom of the pack when reliability is tested. It's reported that Tesla vehicles have an average of 171 mechanical issues per 100 vehicles. For reference, the average number for most automakers hovers around 120 issues per 100 vehicles. If you're considering the purchase of a Tesla, you may want to dig a little deeper into the real cost of ownership before you start passing out signatures."

That's funny...

Tesla - repair costs - $832 - oil changes - 0$ - Total $832
ICE cars - repair costs - $652 - 3 oil changes - $387 - Total $1039

I used the average low cost of an oil change and changing oil about every 4,000 miles.
https://repairpal.com/estimator/oil-change-cost

We haven't even included the other maintenance like radiator and transmission flush costs over 5 years.
You really should dig a little deeper into the real cost of ownership.

You are cute but inaccurate. The 4000, mile oil change died years ago and many go 10,000, as per the factory recommendation. I don't remember the last radiator, brake, or transmission flush as, if required, they were covered under my Audi or BMW maintenance plan.
I purchase year old lease returns. The factory adds a full year to the remaining three year warranty and I haven't seen a service bill in a decade or two.

I really don't give a shit about the cost of Tesla ownership other than responding to wet pants joey's pleas for others to support his decisions and jamb it down others' throats.

Last night, I was at a Red Light and a Prime Delivery vehicle pulled up beside me. It was totally silent in it's operation. I am amazed at how quiet these EV's are. As the light turned green and we drove on alongside one another, the only thing you could hear were the tires on the pavement sound- NO ENGINE NOISE!

Wouldn't one of the Mercedes Benz make a nice RV? Hmm! I think I will go look at them up close at the dealer.
