In defense of Trump's turnover

This is just one attorney stating this however. FWIW, this is an older article but here's a critique of Stern's critique.

I'm not saying one way or the other about Gorsuch's work but I don't know that Stern speaks for people other than himself.

Trumps erratic manner of running the WH, especially his turn over rate, even has my ardent Trump supporter step father groaning.

My step father was head of a large division (I think 200 or so people) and he has been a fervent Trump supporter from almost day one. For him to criticize Trump on his lousy hiring and management skills in the WH should say something.

Trump is an idiot.

Well, when he's pulling from a racist republican white man pool, what do you expect? How can he get good people pulling from the republican party?

NO ONE in that party is worth a damn.

I've never been a great fan; his frozen trucker opinion was faulty. Plus I think the author of that piece correctly points out he's trying to emulate Scalia.
That's a big mistake, nobody can write like Scalia
( who pushed the idea of textualism to superced the living doc vs. originalism dichotomy)

But at least he comes at it from an objective p.o.v..case in point..
How would you feel going up against an Hispanic in litigation in front of her?

Hers is diversity of background, which holds little value, unless it dove tails with diversity of thought

He didn't say Gorsuch was always a bad writer, just that the writing went downhill when he got on the Court. Here's another article about how he's "borrowed" from other authors.

dump is doing exactly what the right wing republican party wants him to do.

He is hiring people they have been wanting in office for decades. Racist fucks who don't know anything but greed, hate and violence.

This is a reflection on the ENTIRE party, not just dump.
The troll is back!

I'm a lifelong Republican even though I didn't vote for Trump. I'd be curious who you think I (and others) have been waiting decades for that he appointed to office? I sure can't think of anyone off the top of my head.

I know the evangelists and anti-choice ppl were hoping for a Republican, any Republican, to appoint a conservative justice to the SCt. They somehow think that that will magically make Roe v Wade go away. They don't seem to understand that 1) first an abortion case must come up, that 2) isn't shot down by a lower court, and 3) be accepted by the SCt to be heard. It's already established law that abortion is legal.

Any republican would have appointed a more conservative justice so that's not unique to Trump.

Like I said I'll reassess if this continues. For now I'll give him the benefit of the (great) doubt. He is unconventional and who knows, it's still early .
He has an abhorrent personality, I'll definitely acknowledge that.
If the chaos continues my patience will have worn away, of that I'm sure.
I'm kinda thinking that assuming Romney wins his senate race he will run against Trump in 2020. In fact I'll bet several repubs will be lining up by that time.

He's a racist that hates Blacks, Mexicans and Muslims.........that's enough for you and the rest of the racist right wing.

Nope. Wall Street and those who abhor regulations have been waiting a long time for a useful idiot who would sweep away consumer protections, environmental protections, and other regulations that they claim "stifle business" but which in reality make doing business here a lot more pleasant than in, say, India. And hence Trump. The average racist, OTOH, is thrilled to be free now to use the n-word openly, curse at women wearing burkahs, yell "Go home you *&%$#@!" at Hispanic-appearing ppl, march around in Nazi suits, and rejoice in the resurgence of white supremacist groups.

I know you're not a con but.... cons started out by saying give him three months. Then it became six months. Then it became one year. Now you're willing to give him 2-1/2 years. This isn't a job that was supposed to provide on-the-job training for more than half of a term.

Why do you think that?

Why does he get a pass for supporting everything cons do?

Because he says so?

It was Obama's choice to make and the Republicans stole it. They are shameless. Gorsuch is a corporatist like the other Repubs on the court. The Roberts court in the most pro corporation anti people court ever.

I just didn't want to get the question hijacked by me saying he talks like a con and him answering that he's not a con.

Although when it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...

What are different about the people Trump put into cabinet positions than Bush did? Do you think Cruz or Rubio would have appointed totally different people? Her comment was Trump put people in cabinet positions we've been waiting decades for. What have Trump's cabinet people done differently than W's, Bush Sr or Reagan?

Why didn't they kill Obamacare then?

Saying you didn't vote for dump doesn't mean shit.

You support EVERYTHING he does.

You support this racist, greedy, violent white man republican agenda.

You are no different.

So voting doesn't matter any more? Why do we do it then?
