In defense of Trump's turnover

we feel the same -or more about Hillary's corrupt , plutocratic, out of touch,
identity politics driven campaign, and her warmongering in Iraq/Syria/Libya.

There were only 2 viable choices

What would YOU have done when Assad was slaughtering civilians and 6 million Syrians fled the country?

What would YOU have done when Assad was slaughtering civilians and 6 million Syrians fled the country?
the question should be: What could we have effectively done?

The last thing I want/wanted to do is get bogged down in Syria; middle east interventionism is a fool's game.
working to undo Assad only strengthens the jihadi groups.. even arming up the FSA was a disaster

And the middle east bog is a creation of bush. What party was he in? He gobbled up about 6 trillion dollars on his neocon wars.

Well, that was sure jam-packed with lies at best or a complete description of Hillary at worst.
Way too much emotional wailing for too long now over this election.
I like Trump being our President. I don't like a small percentage of things he's said.
It's a dang election, comes around every 4 years.
Pick somebody and back'm, deal with the results, live a happy life and then do it all
over again in 4 years. That's life.
I spent 8 years watching the last Prez do his best to divide, destroy our country and the love for
our country.
I never went into any political forum anywhere back then. I had and continue to have a life where
my joy doesn't come from any politician. I cast my vote and dealt with it.
In 2008 a few friends and I talked about the results the day after Obama was elected and
the we all just agreed on "Well, we're screwed".
In 2012 we all just agreed on "Well, we're screwed again", laughed, shook our heads and went about our lives.
I got rid of my TV and waited patiently for 2016. I kept current by watching news when I felt like
it on internet live stream news.
This is the first time in American history there has been such full blown childish, emotional, irrational media hysteria. No parent would ever accept a non-stop temper tantrum for over a year in their home.

The question is......
When you vote for ANY president, is it because you love EVERYTHING about him?
No. Only a fool would. We vote and get what we get.

Looking in the mirror can be painful. BTW, Trump has been president (sadly) now for over a year, so your time to deflect to Hillary has passed its use-by date.

Bottom line is: If you support a bad person, then you are just as bad. We're not talking about political decisions here, but the actions of the person himself -- mocking the disabled, urging followers to be violent, fucking around on his wife(s), assaulting women, racist speech, denigrating others not like himself, frequent personal attacks on non-political ppl, calling white supremacists 'fine folks,' etc. You can't pick and choose which to accept. Either you support Trump -- and his vile behaviors -- or you don't.

Obviously, you do.

Will they seek to undo Trump’s tax reform? Go back to open immigration? Go back to Obama era economic policy and/or stifling business with regulations? Will they go back to regime-change based foreign policy that defined the last 16 years of US foreign policy? Will they restock the EPA with environmental extremists?

Will they refuse to pushback on the liberal media?

How can they win without adopting Trump’s policies? How can a democrat win in 2020 by rejecting them?

When did we have open immigration? The EPA is not extremist. the polluters are.

No recipe was needed last time. Dims ran hrc. lol
To be clear...'16 was not about who voted. It was about who refused to vote. Trust me...the gun issue alone is going to get the vast majority of 18-20 year olds out to vote. Wanna guess who they will be voting against?

Similarly, the Indies who fell for trump's myriad lies about jobs, healthcare, Medicaid/Care will rush to correct their folly.

CA essentially has it now. It just depends n the state. Using an EPA SWAT team to check waste water compliance isn't extreme? Placing my house under EPA jurisdiction because I happen to live with 4,000 feet of a creek isn't extreme? What is in your book?
You don't care if a neighbor with an insufficient leach field emits sewage into your water source?

You don't care if a neighbor with an insufficient leach field emits sewage into your water source?
Sure. What's that got to do with the EPA placing my house under their jurisdiction? The muni monitors that kind of stuff anyway whether the house is within 4,000 ft. of a creek or not.

Oh making America great. Who can argue with that childish slogan?

Yeah, because "hopey" changey" was grown up. You're too stupid to comprehend what an idiot you are aren't you?

Drugs come in by truckload through border cities. Illegals come in the same way. The fence is Trump theater. Trump fails to mention the Mexican cartels incredible tunneling ability. The fence is a show, a meaningless waste of tax payers money to keep haters and the uninformed on Trumps side.

Fascinating and delusional your rant. But if you ask the people in charge of protecting our borders, they will tell you the fences work. Funny how you think stupidly parroting DNC bullshit trumps facts.

Truth Deflector, the right is playing you for a sucker.

Wrong; the DNC needs you to be an uninformed moron.

In your case, that is easy.

In yours, you were most likely born that way.

But these walls Trump is showing off are 4 miles from the border in a Federal park. To get the right of way, Trump will have to use eminent domain to seize people's property. They will go to court. It will be an endless waste of time and money and will not result in a wall. A wall that will not work anyway.

Nothing says moron better than someone saying something is too hard to do.

So what has the EPA done to make your life difficult?

I had to submit a plan to deepen an ephemeral ditch by about 4 inches in my garden. I didn't do it though. Before Trump I was subject to a stiff fine. That BS is over now.
Besides the WOTUS rule was tied up in courts even when Obama was around. Scott Pruitt saved us a lot of trouble. Too bad for the lawyers.

And, with allllll the nonsense and distractions thrown at him as never seen before with ANY incoming president.....not bad for a guy who has NEVER been in politics.

I remember when cons bashed Obama because they said he was inexperienced. Now we have a guy who's really inexperienced and cons are falling over themselves to defend him.

You could be right - or wrong. It's possible that he has a vision and he has to have competent bootlickers to meet that vision. Kinda what I went thru. Turned out my vision was correct.
But that's why I give him another 1.5 yrs.

I know you're not a con but.... cons started out by saying give him three months. Then it became six months. Then it became one year. Now you're willing to give him 2-1/2 years. This isn't a job that was supposed to provide on-the-job training for more than half of a term.

They will never admit it but it’s historic.

I think Trump wanted to reboot in order to deal with China/NK. Tillerson was good for phase one but he needed someone with a different skill set to deal with Kim. Someone who is something like a hawk. Someone like Pompeo.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Tillerson was replaced *within a week* after Kim decided to punt on his nukes. This is a opportunity for Trump to achieve something truly historic and he wants the right people in place.

Trump did good in picking Tillerson—Tillerson was instrumental in getting the Saudis to moderate. If Pompeo has equal success with NK, get the history books ready to print.

Wait, what? One of the biggest reasons cons despised Hillary was because of her supposed hawkishness. Now hawkishness is okay?
