Kim Jung is just crazy enough to launch a nuke, if he has the capability. I say that because he does not answer to anyone, it's his candy store, he has that much power.
Choices are very limited on this issue for Trump. I don't necessarily believe or I should say I find it hard to believe that Kim Jong has the capability of arming a ballistic missile with a nuke warhead.
But like you said, what do we know, we are relying on what they tell us.
I hope to God they verify that he can, and if they do I have no problem given what I know of Kim Jong believing that he might.

I don't know what the answer is w/ a guy like Kim, but I don't think Trump does either. I don't think he really thought about "fire & fury" before he said it; that's just kind of what he does. Maybe it IS the right thing, but I'd like to hear the logic behind that - and I'd have a lot more faith that there was logic if Trump's m.o. was to think before saying anything. But it just isn't.
