He followed him. Why did the guy come at him with a log? The thief could have called the cops on the guy although considering he had just robbed a place that probably isn't too likely.

For the sake of argument let's say our Good Samaritan went too far by following the thief. Does that mean he should be attacked

It means that he is now a person who has shot a man for shoplifting. What is the value of the beer? Why did the man feel the need to endanger himself and others by following this petty thief? Do you think that this man should have followed the shoplifter?

For me personally I probably wouldn't follow someone who stole beer. I don't carry a weapon and I don't like to fight. Growing up in Oakland I saw too many bad people carrying guns so I'd probably assume the robber had one.

None of us knows how closely this guy was following the thief. If he was a distance then he was doing nothing wrong and should not have been attacked.

Well, there was a citizen in Texas who reported a suspicious muslim........obama, the media and all of liberal America came down on her............many said back then...such stupidity would prevent others from reporting suspicious muslim activity.....ah Duh! Flash forward to San Bernadinio....a neighbor found the Muslim Shooter suspicious...but did not report him because she did not want to be accused of waycism....much blood on the hands of those constantly shouting waycism.

The authorities have warned people to not get involved and just call the poeleece..........this has gone on since the sixties............now suddenly the chickens have come home to roost.....crime is rampant...........and muslims stalk and kill innocent people.....but guess what....people do not want to get involved......place the blame where it is due.
