More Indoctrination

Your opinion is worthless not to mention inaccurate.

The first amendment does prohibit actions by the government infringing on religious freedom. Public schools are controlled and funded by the local, state and federal government.

That's a strawman, but not really as it is more about your incredible stupidity. ONLY... did you miss that word? Do you know what it means? Do I need to explain how it modifies the sentence and break it down for you?

Yes, of course, legislative acts specifically establishing or supporting a religion are prohibited. But it is not ONLY legislative acts that are prohibited.

Do you have a different definition, then the accepted one?

Definition of INFRINGE
transitive verb

1: to encroach upon in a way that violates law or the rights of another <infringe a patent>

2obsolete : defeat, frustrate
intransitive verb

And in case part of the definition confused you:

Definition of ENCROACH

1: to enter by gradual steps or by stealth into the possessions or rights of another

2: to advance beyond the usual or proper limits <the gradually encroaching sea>

: encroach —used with on or upon <infringe on our rights>

So....the SCOTUS....the Supreme entity charged with interpreting the US Constitution..and Constitutionality of law.. shouldn't have been involved? Who should have? Glenn Beck? Rush Limbaugh? You?

You moron...the separation of church and state was created specifically for government not to be controlled by religion. I swear to God(no pun intended) that you guys won't be happy until we have a Christian American version of the Taliban running the show here.

Moron? how can the Supreme Court, who you rightly claim are in charge of ruling on matters regarding the constitution, rule on something NOT IN THE CONSTITUTION, WHO IS THE MORON? YOU ARE. I DON'T WANT ONE RELIGION I WANT THE FREEDOM GRANTED UNDER THE CONSTITUTION TO FREELY EXPRESS MY FAITH. Again don't believe laugh at us it's your right but please stop taking away rights gauanteed us by the constitution. Your muslim loving President surely doesn't have a problem with muslims expressing their faith, by blowing stuff up and killing our embassadors. You won't be happy until they burn all bibles, but you will defend the right to have a koran.

The 1st amendment does not contain the word 'only'......is your copy different than mine...???

Public school do not enact law.....they may make rules, but the rules cannot deprive you of your rights....
they may make regulations, but they cannot force you to adhere to them if they deprive you of your rights.

Every day occurances in every school are not controlled by the state or the gov. or by the President of the US.....they are controlled by
teachers and other adults at the school....people that have on occasion overstepped their authority by forcing students to do some things.....

ie....a teacher forcing a student to remove a shirt is the teachers doing, not the states, not the governments, not the presidents....its the teacher.

Now wait....your whole argument is that it doesn't state "separation of church and state" in the Constitution, so therefore there is no such thing....right?

The same can be said for "money = speech". It's not in there so, money is not an example of free speech.

In fact, it could be reasonably argued that the latter is much more harmful to a country that is "supposedly" by, for, and of the people than the former.

Because all the separation of church and state does is put religion where it belongs... in the home, in places of worship, and in our personal lives.

However....the Notion of Money = speech? Well, hell....that's turning down the volume...perhaps even hitting the mute button on millions of people who don't have money and cranking it up on those that do.

It doen't matter where I want to espouse my beliefs, the Government has no right to infringe upon my freedom to do so it clearly DOES state that. My faith requires me to do what it says in Acts 1:8 so when the Government keeps me from doing it, it is infringing upon my religious beleifs period

Strawman? Where? I don't see where I gave any description of your arguments. Identifying logical fallacies is waaaayyyy beyond your abilities.

It does not mean that only legislative acts specifically concerning religion are prohibited. Public schools are supported by state and federal laws that provide for their financing and that compel attendance. Therefore they are subject to the first amendment.

Which my Tax dollars fund, and for the last time, NO WHERE IN THE FIRST AMMENDMEN DOES IT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE SO STOP TRYING TO USE IT TO ARGUE YOUR POINT.

How do they infringe upon your rights to practice your religion?

Nope, those are fine by me and exactly as I used the word. Your point is???

No where in the Constitution does it state that money=speech either...so that means Citizen's United is unconstitutional.... right?

More strawmen. I did not suggest that it contained the word only. I suggested that you are reading that word into it.

You are wrong. Other government agents that do not make laws can violate your first amendment rights.

I did not suggest that it was Obama's or Congress' fault that the school held the assembly. The suit will likely be against the local school board for failing to manage the school properly. They can be held responsible for the acts of their employee's just as any other employer is.

Again, wtf are you talking about? As if I am suggesting we should train 5 year olds to be radical Muslims as an alternative. Get a grip.

Then rail against them, and leave us who simply want to raise children to be accountable for their actions, and be good citezens, who will contribute to the next generation of takers alone.

Evidently,, couldn't care less politics is about nothing but a big paycheck for the Bastards in Washington

So getting the money out of politics would be a good thing...right?

You still have not told me how government is keeping you from witnessing.

So tell me Einstein who wins if the suit is won by the Parents, the kids nope they won't have a school to attend when the school goes belly up, GENIUS!

You can raise your kids anyway you want...no one's stopping you.

Exactly, taxes authorized through legislative acts.

I have only commented on the "separation of church and state" in response to you, douchebag. You can rant and rave all you want, the first amendment DOES imply there should be a separation.

If you find a way let me know, by trying to control where and when I can witness,
like school, not necessarily for me but my kids.
