Everyone contributes just like they do to streets and sidewalks and SS and other government projects and programs. The average person could not build a highway to town but when everyone contributes a highway is constructed. Or a street. Or an interstate. It's as ridiculous to say everyone should be responsible for their own medical care as it is to say everyone should be responsible for building their own highway. Or everyone should have their own MRI machine.

Everyone will pay and everyone will save. Do some research. There's nothing ambiguous about the statistics. The costs are lower and the people live longer. It's as simple as that.

You have an extremely vivid imagination coupled with, I suspect, anger issues. It appears you are adamantly against helping others. Were you neglected as a child? Was there an instance where you required a helping hand and everyone just snickered and walked by? I think you should look into this for the sake of your own mental health.

what 'vivid imagination' would you be referring to? and anger issues? yes, you could certainly say that. I'm damn pissed off at the total ignorance and willfulness displayed by you and yours with your belief that you can simply force me to do anything you feel is necessary to better your life. nobody is 'owed' anything from the government other than the protection of their rights, end of story. As I said, you and yours are coming dangerously close to kicking off a shit ton of violence and you will be a part of it, whether you like it or not.

"Everyone contributes' isn't going to cut it. What about the person who has an idea and builds something on it and works hard to develop it and provides jobs. You keep talking about fairness, but you're not being honestly fair.

I get the feeling that the only thing you've ever read is the preamble and nothing more. Because if you had read the declaration of independence, you'd see that there are already at least HALF of the reasons they gave on that document that are currently being implemented again.
