Hello Darth,
See, you’re making a rhetorical argument lol.
Probably supplemented with pounding your fist on the table. Here’s some actual facts that you’re welcome to refute if you are able. The virus didn’t just ‘get loose’ from China. The virus likely came from a lab in Wuhan, so it’s likely the CCP lied on that.
The facts are the CCP lied about human to human transmission *while* they were allowing tens of thousands of their infected nationals to literally seed the planet with a highly contagious virus.
At that point, a pandemic was inevitable. It was a forgone conclusion.
And this was happening *before* Trump, Fauci or whoever, could have done anything that was going to change the outcome in any significant way. It was physically impossible to test every living soul in the country to see if they were an asymptomatic carrier in December/January of last year. That’s pie in the sky stuff and it was the only thing that could have been done that would have changed anything.
So, the virus was here and the virus was spreading in our population before anyone was aware of it. We were screwed.
By the communist China regime. EOD.
No, there has been no fist-pounding here. Nothing like it. Merely justifiably concerned due to being well informed and caring about our nation and our citizens, my fellow citizens of the United States of America.
Is it possible that the virus was deliberately created and released? Yes.
Do we have proof of that? No.
Does leadership and government handling of a crisis have a bearing on the outcome? Absolutely.
Do I believe this nonsensical statement? --> 'Virus is gonna virus. Nothing we can do about it.' <-- Absolutely not. I do not believe that. There is plenty which can be done.
Would there be fewer cases and deaths if there were no super-spreader events? Yes.
Would there be fewer super-spreader events if government and leadership had a more consistent message? Yes.
Would unified consistent government leadership and messaging result in more adherence to the CDC guidelines, less transmission of the virus, fewer cases and fewer deaths? Yes.
Now here is an example.
When the CDC said wearing masks will help save lives, and Trump said it was a choice and he chose not to, many individuals who believed in him decided right there on the spot that they would not be wearing a mask if they didn't have to.
That resulted in more transmissions of the disease, more cases, and more deaths.
And since there were more cases, that created even more chances for further transmissions and still more cases and deaths.
Bad policy and messaging built upon itself to make the pandemic far worse than it had to be.
When Trump chose very unwisely to go on national TV and say he was not going to wear a mask, those words killed tens of thousands of Americans.
Just like that. If words could kill. In that case, they did.
