Diversity Makes Greatness
Hello Darth,
My, that's a rather absurd argument, attempting to insinuate that mask-wearing is the only factor which might affect the numbers. I'm glad my argument doesn't depend on such a flimsy illogical assumption.
Pandemic numbers are also directly and strongly affected by adherence to safe guidelines. The holiday season was expected to bring greater numbers, and it had nothing to do with mask-wearing.
The whole reason we wear masks is to protect against possible transmission while sharing air, particularly in confined spaces over extended periods of time. The primary factor is proximity and the duration of close proximity. Masks are not required at all when individuals are apart. The holidays brought individuals together, thus increasing the likelihood of increased transmission. This occurs irrespective of mask usage. That is precisely what happened.
Now that the holidays are weeks past, that is why we are seeing the numbers come down.
Thus, the numbers may go up or down due to other factors besides mask-wearing.
Where individuals are in close proximity, if they wear masks they reduce the chances of transmission. Chances of transmission are also reduced if people stay apart. As I said, there are numerous factors which affect transmission rates.
Any argument which depends on the assumption that mask-wearing is the only factor in virus numbers is faulty because that is an incorrect assumption.
Prove it lol?
That’s pure speculation. Moreover, it’s looking increasingly baseless. Our numbers have dropped precipitously even as mask wearing has been constant over time. This *strongly* suggests masks weren’t a factor and likely never were a factor.
The Chinese communist party owns the death count. What should be done about it?
