WOW!!!Christian thread

Damocles, did you have a religous based wedding? Or any religous influence at all?

I did not assume anything, I simply asked a question.

I was going to say, "Yes, my new slave joyfully accepted her place in the world..." but she might be reading this and I'd be punished for my terrible humor.

Actually we were married in her parents' Methodist church, there was nothing about obeying or submitting in any vows we took.

:D

It was a Christian Marriage. I was just being a jerk. We were married in her parents' Methodist church. We let them plan the wedding, we focused on our relationship with the Buddhist temple we attend. It was a wonderful party.

Sounds like a no-stress way of working out what can sometimes be a stressfull family situation. We simply left religen out of the equasion, we wrote our vows together based on what we felt was the right promises to make to eachother. We had her brother serve as officiant and simply got legally married a couple weeks earlier at the Courthouse. We had the ceramony at the CountryClub thats across the golfcorse from our backyard. Now we can see the site from our bedroom window.

Speaking of OCD, I hope wise doesn't mind if I hijack this thread too? LOL I am in the middle of the most horrible wedding drama. Between my two brothers. I feel like crying. I thought there were only bridezillas, not groomzillas? It's kinda funny that there are people on this board trying to upset me with posts, it's like trying to slap a person who was just shot full of Novocaine. I am in shell shock. I hate weddings.

You're the sister, so just do what my sister does. Take control and slap the brothers down into submission. Seems to work for her.

tff....christiefan "thanks" hijacked posts in this thread, but whines if i RESPOND to a hijacked thread

love the hypocrisy

You asked a simple question, most of us answered. If you want a debate about something, then perhaps starting a thread on something with a bit more meat than 'u a christian and a freemason?'

Consider this thread hijacked as well. I think I will change the topic to "How to eat fried worms".... discuss....

Well, FRIED is a good start.

Why are your two brothers trying to marry each other?
