Why the liberal arts are important

You haven't heard? All art history, English lit, psych., sociology graduates are all on welfare. Plus they're OBVIOUSLY liberal, and likely not white or male or straight or Christian, either.

I already looked this up in a thread from last year. The number of bachelor's degrees awarded every year in the traditional liberal arts is only a tiny fraction of all degrees awarded. The vast majority of students are majoring in business, engineering, nursing, science, technology.

It's only your gullibility that caused you to believe FOX propaganda that there is a catastrophic situation in this nation of too many students majoring in liberal arts.

Why are you angry if somebody loves art or history and wants to give it a shot??

My only argument here is that majoring in liberal arts is inferior to STEM degrees for employment purposes. I don’t see how you can possibly argue against that.
