Actually, Libby, you accused me of combining the two issues in post 414. Its up to you to show me where I supposedly did this. The fact is that I never even mentioned the Jones Act. And until I mentioned the 15ppm issue, you never did. It was you who were confused with the Jones Act issue. So you'll have to provide proof of that or recant.

Now you level a second accusation- calling me a bigot- so you'll have to provide proof of that or recant.

My prediction is that you won't man-up on either. :)

I also love it when "opponents" run out of actual argument and wind up saying stuff like this, nothing says "Damo win" like the post above.

The joint informational center (link posted earlier) showed directly that "approval" from the government came late, and came rarely.

More reality:

TCL has a problem understanding the difference between the Jones Act Waiver and official approval from the government to work in our waters that came late and rarely. Jones Act Waivers remain pending, according to the joint information center (link posted earlier, there were six requests at the time I posted the link) none have been approved. There is a difference between the two.

And one prediction:

TCL will repeat another post where he will link back to posts that do not prove his point, ignores factual information given by the very people that he is attempting to "defend", and then say something foolish about how he's "won" then complain about a "personal attack"... This will make us all laugh again.

One has to closely scrutinize the folk who claim they're so above the people they openly chastise and yet find themselves in fact posting daily amongst them.

I imagine we should be somewhat releived since last time the hysteria of the Great Unwashed US electorate, having swallowed the notion that Saddam was about to launch an invasion of the USA, caused the the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqis.

This time, the outcome is not likley to be quite so deserate, although the ignorance is the same.
