Who is willing to defend United Airlines?

That will remain to be seen. Without spending hours researching the law, I would think that since 9/11, airlines don't need a very good excuse for asking passengers to leave. They serve alcohol, but if they deem you too drunk, they can escort you off of the plane. I seem to remember an incident with a crying baby too.

I posted their contract of carriage,
as well as a link to the relevant law.
The CEO also admitted they were in the wrong.
It isn't nebulous at all.

If you are minding your business and a cop tells you to get on the ground, the moment you refuse, you have broken the law. I'm not sure if that applies across the board on airlines.

Incorrect.
The police can only give lawful orders.

Look Motty, Rune is kicking your ass in this debate.

Yeah, look in the mirror after rereading this thread.

Rune completely schooled you. Rune.

LOL

Fuck off yurt.
My IQ the same as Hillary Clinton's.
Fucking asshole.
Just because we have different views doesn't mean I am stupid.

In our county the Sheriff has jurisdiction at the airport, so they have jurisdiction county wide.

In other places Airports have their own police department, that does not necessarily mean that they don't have jurisdiction outside the airport it depends on what their operating agreement with the County or State says.

My town, for example has a police department, they have an agreement with the next town over that says if in pursuit or if in relation to a crime committed in our town, the police have special jurisdiction.

United was guilty by policy,
the TSA was guilty by power Trip

But the victim was guilty of his own stupidity. At the point that TSA agents, in plain clothes no less are asking you to exit the plane, exit the plane, you have a case to be fought at another time and place

"If the Nazi tells you to get on the train, you get on the train, you have a case to be fought at another time and place."

Is that your attitude? Is that what you would have told the jew in 1940's Germany?

Why are so many conservatives so interested in insisting you give absolute power to any authority figure? Geesh!

Sure...the law states that you have no right to argue when an airline tells you to get off of a plane. No doubt more stringent since 9/11.
A week prior, UA kicked two people off for the way they were dressed.
you can cite that law, right? because i'm pretty sure that there are some conditions in the law attached to that before they can order you off the plane.

Since when to police sentence anyone to death? Oh, you're talking about a very small percent of police who use excessive force and are now finally being punished for it.

hi there, do you remember ANY of my posts of police killing people claiming 'in fear for their lives' and facing no punishment?

if you are minding your business and a cop tells you to drop your undies, are you breaking the law by refusing?

I don't believe they were TSA agents. In fact, they were in jeans, and they were (supposedly) told to stop wearing the shirts with 'Police' written on them.

A cop telling you to get on the ground, is easily defensible with their cookie cutter lies in court. Your scenario would require quite a bit more work.
