It's fascinating that after looking at your posted link, which reeks of partisanship, I went to the horse's mouth -- Pew Research -- and discovered that the graphs in the article are fake. There is no "Wave 64" listed on their list of data sets which go back to 2014. The most recent one is Wave 59, early 2020. If you edit the URL and remove "59" and replace it with "64," you get a 404 error. Try it. You've been had.

I knew it was bullshit without even looking. The source was garbage and it's blathered talking points were a crock of shit that didn't follow in any reasoned understanding of psychology. "Left-wing" policies in America are considered moderate in other developed nations. Universal healthcare is the norm, for instance. So is acceptance of science and laws against racism and sexism.
