/shrugs.....it isn't a religious definition......its been the definition of all society for thousands of years and I see no reason why some special interest group should shove their desires down the throats of everyone who doesn't agree with it.....

So you only believe SOME of the Bible....you get to decide which parts were written in a different time and place and, therefore, get to be winked at and considered allegorical, and which parts must absolutely be taken literally.

???....I believe everything the Bible communicates to us......I just find it amusing the things you try to put into it and insist on.....you and the Rev Phelps agree on many things that I do not.....

he argues that unless you're willing to take everything in the Bible as narrative you aren't allowed to consider any of it......

So PiMP's view of the bible is the correct view, and everyone on either side of HIS view - from Rev. Phelps on one side to ME on the other - has got it all wrong.

Yeah... That makes a lot of fucking sense.
