We need to nominate, then elect Herman Cain!

You need to be better informed. It's already happened and had to be reversed in an appeals court. Wife beating is allowed under Sharia Law.

FALSE unless you can show me a Cite?

And if you are correct... it was reversed, why? Becuase I was CORRECT.

These guys will play any game they can come up with to avoid discussing the real issues.

So you dont care to discuss my point about Sharia law? I wonder why? Run, Dixie, Run! I read somewhere that those colors dont run, I guess that was wrong.

I don't care to discuss it in my thread about nominating and electing Herman Cain, because it's a completely different topic. That's one of my pet peeves with this place, you fucktards can't stay on message, you have to ruin every thread you participate in, by either detracting, diverting, distracting, or turning it into a shit throwing contest. For once, I would like to see a thread stay on topic! Just once! But I guess that's too much to ask of illiterate nincompoops like you?

YOU are the one making an excuse for not starting a thread.

You are the one who wants a new thread, start one, Ill agree to discuss it in your new thread. Otherwise I understand why you would not want to flesh this out any further.

Not working on me. I've already proved you wrong.

We're talking about Sharia Law. What about courts upholding wife beating condoned by Sharia Law. That's been done and had to be reversed by an appeals court. You keep denying the evidence. That's foolish.

http://theahafoundation.org/issues/sharia-law/

That ruling was overturned on appeal. Funny how you think this means Shari'ah law is encroaching instead of thinking that a judge made a bad decision against the woman, as the courts have done numerous times when it comes to restraining orders. Your fears are irrational.

"In considering the woman's plea for a restraining order after the couple divorced, Charles ruled in June 2009 that a preponderance of the evidence showed the defendant had harassed and assaulted her, but "The court believes that [defendant] was operating under his belief that it is, as the husband, his desire to have sex when and whether he wanted to, was something that was consistent with his practices and it was something that was not prohibited."

Charles' ruling was overturned last month by New Jersey's Appellate Court, which ruled that the husband's religious beliefs were irrelevant and that the judge, in taking them into consideration, "was mistaken."

What about wife beating allowed in Sharia Law?

In which country?

"Muslims believe sharia is God's law, but they differ as to what exactly it entails.[2] Modernists, traditionalists and fundamentalists all hold different views of sharia, as do adherents to different schools of Islamic thought and scholarship. Different countries, societies and cultures have varying interpretations of sharia as well."

They know the entire Sharah law argument is simply a scare tactict that cant stand up to any discussion on the subject.

Indeed. A non sequitur, and code word designed to instill fear and dread in Americans too stupid to differentiate between the rule of law and separation of church and state.

Court cases are already using Sharia Law in the USA. That's why states are passing laws forbidding it. You're in over you're head again.

So, answer the question posed to you previously.....

Should individuals be prohibited from contracting to use whatever rules they choose as long as they are not unconshonable? Should I be allowed to have a pre-nump seting forth my own set of rules to outline how assets will be devided in the case of Divorce?

What if the rules my wife and I agree to are Sharia law?

Hey, you illiterate moron, I've already asked you what the fuck is "unconshonable?" You told me to "sound it out" but whenever I do that, the Greek people laugh at me for ordering gyros, because they don't serve an orientation-stabilizing device to eat. So let me help you rephrase your question, since you appear to be too stupid to do that... Should individuals be prohibited from contracting to use whatever rules they choose as long as they are not unconstitutional? And the answer is, no.

Interesting that you think forgetting to post a link equates to fear of posting a link. Interesting to me anyway, since I know you hard-line conservatives are ruled by fear.
