So should two Americans be prohibited from entering into a contract that says, "If a dispute arises between the two of us in connection to this Contract we both hereby agree to resolve this dispute using Sharia Law and having the Mulah of Mosque # 341 act as the judge. Furthermore the decisions of this Mulah shall be upheld by the American Court of Competent Jurisdictions, As long as said provisions of Sharia are not unconshonable."?

We're talking about Sharia Law. What about courts upholding wife beating condoned by Sharia Law. That's been done and had to be reversed by an appeals court. You keep denying the evidence. That's foolish.

Any type of law, that does not result in an unconshonable decision, can be agred to be abided by in Contract and such provisions will be upheld by American Courts.

True, unless you agree to it ahead of time Beit Din does not controll, and in many aspects of Family law you cannot agree ahead of time to use different rules. However, you could have a pre-numptual that would say, in the event of divorce we will use the Deit Din process to determine the terms of the divorce and in that case the court would be charged with using Beit Din to determine the distrabution of assets.

Sure its allowed, to the same extent that the rules established in Pre-nump's are allowed or to the extent that people agree to abide by Christian law or the Rules of the American Arbitration Association or the laws of the State of Florida, even if the suit is brought in California.

That would not be allowed, for one... you cant agree to absolve someone of Criminal Liability in our system. Secondly it is unconshonable and you cant agree to follow unconshonable laws. Thirdly, you cant agree to allow yourself to be physically injured.

Do you know what "to the same extent" means. You cant enter into a Pre-nump that would allow wife beating, Sharia or not.

You need to be better informed. It's already happened and had to be reversed in an appeals court. Wife beating is allowed under Sharia Law.
