When deadly force is used, under penalty of death when found guilty by independent panels of elected citizens. Simply put, a demand for Raif and equal treatment for black Americans which does not exist today, even after being American for over 400 years. How much do you think that costs you? It doesn’t cost you anything, not one nickel. You have no power and no authority to grant anything, so the justice we seek must flow from the American system of Justus. There is justice, then there is Justus.

For African Americans, freedom, justice, and equality has never been given. It must be demanded. That has been true from the moment we sfwooed on these shores and it remains true to this day. It was never my intent to deal with such issues alone, nor am I alone on this. Politics is a quid pro quo system of demand and acceptance, thus the Democratic Party needs me and millions who think as we do as much as we need them, and if Democrats lose this election again, the soul searching (no pun intended) will be endless ... especially considering the Browning of America which is at the heart of all we see today. At one rime African Americans were all republicans, thus I’m no more eternally tied to the Democratic Party then we were in the past.

If Trump wins a second term because blacks and white progs didn't come out in large enough numbers because the Democrats didn't kiss their asses then you all will have yourselves to thank when Trump cuts off whatever help the govt still allows.

He will be completely unfettered to do whatever he damned well pleases and the GOP will be in lockstep with him every step of the way.

Many of those laws have been repealed in many jurisdictions, such as the no knock law that contributed to the murder of Breanna Taylor. Do you know how that repeal happened? Demand. A demand that grew out of the anger of burning down said dry cleaners .. no differently than the demand of tossing tea overboard in a violent riot in Boston in 1776.

Also, on the flip side, there has to be a recognition that the Police have a role to play. You can't walk away from them, hop in your car, and drive off. (not saying that deserves 7 shots in the back, but walking to your car and reaching in is the perfect excuse for the "He went for a Gun" defense)

I accept that as a great many of us do. You may remember that my son is a police officer, and one of my daughters is a Master Sargent in the military. I accept the neccesary roles of both, though I am as anti war as I am anti racist police.. What’s missing is any trust in the police. Why would we trust them. My police officer son doesn’t trust them. You may also remember that I’ve mentored middle school boys for many years, stopped only by cancer. They don’t trust them and why would they? What are we supposed to say to them? The man in blue is your friend? He is not. Not even to small children. We teach them how to survive encounters with police and how to avoid them.

Every unnecessary death is a tragedy. The example you gave, if they're true, are tragic. But they don't change the purpose of BLM. You're deflecting in a way that helps no one.
