Those who believe the election was stolen, and all the baggage that goes with it, fall into two groups: the mentally ill, which is, by far, the largest group and the WSEs, the smaller and far more deadly group.
It wasn't Trump and the Q anon phenomenon that was the great evil of 1/6. They were just a mob with the same collective low IQ of any mob. The great evil of Donald J. Trump is his willingness to get in bed with the WSEs, especially the ones with a deadly intention of violently taking down the US government by any means possible.
Many of them are mentally ill too but in a way far different from the wackadoodles among the Qless. Unlike them, the WSEs are not Trumpers. They are using Trump just like Trump is using them. Trump's mistake is that he thinks he can control his own Praetorian Guard.
It's interesting to note that one of the strike team Oath Keepers who attacked the Capitol on 1/6 was Jessica Watkins, a trans woman. Like the oddity that militias weren't ever mentioned during the Rittenhouse trial, there is very little mention of the fact Watkins is genetically male. WSE proponents make a big deal about how they can't be racist because they have Henry "Enrique" Tarrio, but they don't claim they are "woke" or otherwise enlightened about the rights of all Americans regardless of sexual preferences or attire.
One thought is that she was a "true believer", a die-hard who'd rather do the 20 years than give up a fellow soldier so they let her in based on that alone.

The Founders seemed wise enough to realize that all points of view must be considered in a democracy. Regardless if it's a direct democracy or a republic, the Founders recognized that the power of the nation belonged to We, the People. Not the King, not the President and not any particular political party.

A direct democracy is a republic or would be if such a nation state existed. The alternative democracy, such as The United States, is a representative democracy though we continue to have direct democracy in some small towns were town hall meetings have local governmental authority to some degree. A republic is any nation state other than a monarchy.

The benefit of having a representative democracy is that those elected to office should the most capable to serve their constituents but it seems we're only getting those who are most capable of serving themselves. Part of the problem is the party system controls on the votes.

Disregarding the "source" part, the tweet gives you the name of the head of the security detail (most likely in the car with Trump), and mentions the limo/SUV DRIVER, who was definitely in the car with Trump, and was supposedly the "victim" of Trump's "attack". These people can be subpoenaed or invited to testify or be deposed or whatever, and they can clear this up in 5 minutes by answering a couple yes/no questions. 1. If the committee calls the SS agents to confirm Hutchinson's testimony. In which case she is telling the truth.
2. The committee does not invite or compel the SS to testify because they would impeach Hutchinson's testimony Because she lied.
Everybody should notice there has been ZERO effort to compel the SS agents to testify. Because Hutchinson lied through her teeth.

Hutchinson almost certainly did not lie at all...and did not lie about what she was told. Lots and lots of people in the know have indicated that the story of Trump getting belligerent with his Secret Service agents after his speech on 1/6...was wide-spread in the Secret Service agency.
