Yes. Since they make the rules, they know how to cheat the system.....And when their schemes get exposed for the fraud they are? The average man takes the loss but hardly ever the rich man.

Go watch the movie "assault on Wall Street". You'll see how the stock brokers make sure they recover their losses and pay major investors back first. Why? When the small guy gets robbed, he does nothing, but when the rich and powerful guy loses money, heads roll.

Other than my years of experience in the workforce, and my obervations over years of reading and watching, that is!

Now there may be exceptions but they are overall few and far between. If they weren't the United States wouldn't currently have the second highest level of income inequality in the world. And the figures that bear that out are unconscionable. As for me, I haven't had a full time job with benefits since December 23, 1979! Some people get lucky, but I haven't been lucky yet! And I never learned how to negotiate this system to get anything more than minimum wage or near minimum wage jobs for most of my life. And having kicked around in the kinds of jobs that PhDs like Barbara Ehrenreich occasionally describe in detail for a best seller, or most of my life, I know that there is a vast mass of people who are in the same position that I have always found myself in. Now your experience has been different as have the vast majority of your neighbors: the people who live in gated communities near the tennis courts and golf courses of America, but there are millions of us who never get to set foot on either of those amenities. And have never learned what it takes to do so. I'm too old to care now! But I never found my way in to anything of substance in my entire life.
 
Ok Dante's so you decided against being wealthy!
I chose to participate and get wealthy by 401k, and so did most of my piers.

Not everybody can get a science degree and work for an oil company. But people who do seldom understand that not everyone else can! And those who are poor in this country don't choose it! I know people whose 401ks who are can't do anything but contribute to them because that is the way they are set up where they work. And some of those people are still $3-$10 thousand dollars down from where they were before 2008, The places where they work do not offer them any other choice on what they can do. Their 401ks are handled by others. Not everyone gets to do what you or your peers have done; to deny that fact is just plain propaganda. The pyramid of capitalism isn't built on the idea that everybody is on the top, it is built on the idea that a few at or near the top exploit the many at the bottom. I was never smart enough to compete with all the really smart people who knew how to do all that. To claim that the hundreds of millions of people who have never had wealth in this country chose not to have any is just plain ridiculous!

I don't begrudge you being poor, most people are. I was at 17.
No doubt wealth is largely tied ti IQ
That doesn't mean the average person can't work rally hard and get there. Millions do

"Begudge"? Do you think I or the millions of other people currently on food stamps in this country enjoy being poor? Oh well? Maybe it was just poor word choice! I would have settled for a little health insurance somewhere along the way or some help with dental care and glasses. It just never happened! Lincoln was wrong. Not all waitresses open their own restaurants and not all baggage handlers start their own airlines and not all taxi drivers own their own taxi companies, not all autoworkers start their own machine shops. And not all people who work their whole lives retire with millions. And just because some do, and in a country of over 310 million people even 30 million is less than 10 percent, that doesn't mean the vast majority of the other 90 percent can or could have!

The time for a revolution is near! The Golden age is at hand! If you want to continue to be a slave to the wealthy elites, then continue to support Capitalism. Who have you enslaved via debt and inflation. It is more and more difficult for people to make ends meet. Do we take it lying down or do we rise up and do something about it?

Spread the word, the time is at hand, and the enemy is not the republicans or the democrats, it is the super wealthy that own you!! The so called capitalists!
