What this shows is that Putin's control over Russia isn't absolute. There are chinks in his armor. Wagner won't be the last to challenge him - the wheels have started to come off. Putin needed a third party, Belarus to settle this mess for him.. Putin's showing weakness.
Agreed here. Putin's excesses have disturbed many Russians before, but not enough for them to do anything about it. Now, as you said, "the wheels have started to come off".
I think Putin's reign appears to be coming to an end. Probably before the end of the year.

If a rogue Ukraine brigade marched on Kyiv to threaten Zelensky, Ukraine civilians would probably line the highway to pelt them with rocks, and would probably form a human chain around the presidential palace.
The fact that Wagner traveled hundreds of kilometers through Russia and towards Moscow virtually unimpeded suggests to me that the depth of support for Putin has been drastically overrated by his MAGA fan boys.
I can see Pirogzhin having an "accident" or pulling an Epstein and Putin retiring to his home in Siberia.

It's was a very interesting event. Now Wagner is claiming theirs was simply a protest....by killing Russian soldiers and shooting down Russian helicopters. That's like claiming 1/6 was only a "protest". LOL

Trump is about to lose his best client. Putin is weak and highly paranoid. His actions during the COVID pandemic and his threats to launch nukes all add to that view.
It's up to the Russian people to pick their own path here. IMO, they'll pick the path to freedom, peace and prosperity.
He had civilian support in Moscow, this isn't "hard and swift" (that's what she said) turning... Putin is far less powerful. What I fear is if Putin thinks his back is to the wall he'll lash out stupidly. This is when Ukraine is most vulnerable to a nuclear attack, if Putin feels he is actually challenged the randomness of his response puts the world in danger.

This is too important of an issue to constantly try to throw our politics into it. You are doing Ukrainians a disservice by polluting their issues with your partisan hate. Not everyone that support Making America Great again is anti helping Ukraine. Remember that a lot of Congress supports MAGA and Ukraine funding is still passing Congressional approval.
