Do you think Putin will try to have him killed?Supposedly, Prigozhin has agreed to self exile himself in Belarus, and my guess is the agreement included Putin paying him a couple billion dollars under the table.
Why do you insist upon wasting my time?
Knock it off.
Against Germany back in 1941 or so.![]()
Do you even know where Rostov-na-Don is? Look it up and then tell me how strategic it is. And they didn't even come close to controlling the whole city.
Why do you insist on being a fucking ass clown?
Do you think Putin will try to have him killed?
Russian sources posted footage reportedly of Russian Ka-52 helicopters striking claimed Wagner targets on the highway in Voronezh.[10] Wagner forces may have shot down up to three Mi-8 MTPR electronic warfare helicopters, one Mi-8 helicopter, one Ka-52 helicopter, one Mi-35 helicopter, one Mi-28 helicopter, and one An-26/Il-28 transport aircraft, resulting in the deaths of at least 13 pilots and airmen - and one of the single deadliest days for the Russian air force of the war in Ukraine to date

I'm not sure, but my guess is no. Putin is extremely keen to not piss off the rightwing nationalist community in Russia, of which Pirogzhin was a prominent and respected member.
sorry, I thought we were talking about the war in Ukraine......you people who bring up irrelevant topics confuse me.......
You really think a force of 25,000 is going to take over Russia?
The Nazis couldn’t do it with 3.5 million troops but ok
Not only do I know where it is, I’ve been there. The “Southern Capital”.
who was talking about Wagner's advance on Moscow, not Hitler's.....try to keep up.....I was responding to tinker. Try to keep up.
That MAGA never heard of the city before 24 hours ago.
My grandmother was born in Rostov-on-Don. It is a strategically and historically important city in southern Russia and the gateway to the important and vast Don River basin.
I think the guy is kind of a Putin ally, there is more to this story. It doesn’t really make a lot of sense. Wagner didn’t decide to do this lightly in order to back down one day in.
My only guess is that the Kremlin gave in to whatever demands Wagner had, but who knows what they were.
I was there in 87’ beautiful back then, USSR.

Tensions between the mercenary company and the government came to a head with an apparent coup attempt on Friday
by Will Porter Posted on June 24, 2023
The head of Russia’s Wagner private military firm, Yevgeny Prigozhin, has claimed to have captured a military facility in the Russian city of Rostov, after the mercenary chief accused government forces of attacking his fighters in Ukraine. The Kremlin has denied the allegations, instead labeling the move an “armed insurrection.”...

The fact that Putin let this guy walk away to a comfortable retirement in Belarus, probably with a brand new shiny Swiss bank account, after Putin openly called him a traitor and a renegade is really a problem for Putin, who has styled himself as the tough guy strongman who brooks no dissent. This Pirogzhin wouldn't have lived 24 hours against Stalin, Brezhnev, or Ivan the Terrible.
It will be interesting to see if Prigozhin lives out the year.
Something weird happened which I don't understand. Wagner walked into Rostov-on-Don without firing a shot and took over. It didn't seem to bother the local residents at all. Nobody was out there waving portraits of Putin and booing the Wagner guys. A Wagner column drove north and got within 200 km of Moscow without meeting the slightest resistance, despite the fact Putin went on TV and openly called these guys traitors who were going to be disposed of.
It's almost an indication that the support Putin has in Russia isn't as deep and as strong as Putin's MAGA fan boys claim.
