Best evidence refutes your view. For the official record as of this date to be "propaganda" would require the need of the U.S. Navy to lie in a inquiry. That of course implies quite clearly that the U.S. Navy does not care about its sailors nor that the United States cared at all about its military personnel. That has never been the case. Israel had no reason to attack the Liberty. The United States had no reason to protect Israel from these claims if they were in fact accurate. If Canada decided to blow one of our ships out of the water intentionally (fat chance of course, but hey, it is just an example) the U.S. certainly would not make up excuses for them even though they are a neighbor. I tend to believe in facts. Even when they hurt. Facts are truth.

Your claim ends here, He was right. Well, and wrong. The mandate was much larger than modern day Israel but the Jews were not guaranteed that land, in fact the only thing they were guaranteed was a homeland west of the River Jordan, size was not mentioned.
