This isn't a question of just paying more. There are not only many consumer products that aren't made by any US company, but there are also manufacturing items that aren't made in the US. My buddy owns a company that manufactures and packages bottled liquids like soaps, lotions, etc. All of the ingredients he uses, for some of his customers, come from China. All of the bottles that are approved by his customers and used for packaging come from China. Many of those ingredients and bottles are literally not produced in the US.
