You absolutely have to know who you are pardoning. It is a presidential power, not a cabinet power. It is a unique power that most presidents respected. Trump has cheapened it forever. He pardoned a bunch of people who were involved in his first campaign. It is easy to surmise he was protecting himself. Now he has done hundreds. When he is gone, Congress will have to address the pardoning power. If Trump touches something, it is fucked up.

Nope. Why are you making this claim? The Constitution declares that all executive power is vested in the President. All of it. Not just some of it. The President can pardon all the unnamed people he wishes.
