If someone told me two years ago that an American presidential candidate from the GOP or Democratic parties would reach out to a hostile foreign government for help in swaying an American election, I would have been incredulous.
I would have thought a patriotic American, and certainly a Presidential candidate, would tell the Russians to fuck off and stay out our of our elections.
Trump was given intelligence in January 2017 that showed Putin personally ordered cyber attacks against the US.
The EU has never done that.
