Priceless. I love the feature but I don't need constant reminders that people I deem worthless brain dead idiots posted.

You probably block the same 30 or so I block. It would be nice if the normal people used that feature to direct discussion
amongst ourselves within bounds of reasonable disagreement, as opposed to knocking back the right wing lunacy all the time.
Having to try and convince a Trump troll that he is a lying piece of excrement prevents us from discussing say e.g Myanmar genocide
and our moral responsibility to assist.

Yea. I've tried it on several boards, for more than 10 years...trying to get everyone to ignore the idiots. Some people simply cannot resist poking the trolls. If everyone simply ignored them, they'd have to find another rock to hide under.

McCain was not tortured, PoW guard claims

he Republican US presidential candidate John McCain was not tortured during his captivity in North Vietnam, the chief prison guard of the jail in which he was held has claimed.

In an interview with the Italian daily Corriere della Sera, Nguyen Tien Tran acknowledged that conditions in the prison were "tough, though not inhuman". But, he added: "We never tortured McCain.
