Trump doesn't make it to January 2021- Betting Odds

This will happen again.

Americans think it's dump and not dump pushing republican policies.

The will vote for another republican president instead of kicking republican politics to the curb.

Not sure how uninformed he is but there's no question he's petulant. Any adult with common sense would know not to constantly tweet the shit he does. His mouth and tweets are his own worst enemy but he can't fathom that.

Does it ever occur to you that this is how he gets his message out without being filtered by the FAKE media? Does it ever occur to you, regardless of how crazy his tweets might appear, he is the most transparent man to ever sit in the White House doing such?

Paddy Power’s odds on a Trump impeachment remain the same. And the bookmaker is also offering odds of just 6/4, an implied probability of 40 percent that, for whatever reason, Trump does not make it to January 2021 as president. That’s because there are also odds of 11/2, equivalent to just over 15 percent, that Trump, like Richard Nixon, will decide to resign.

The odds of a Trump impeachment are even stronger elsewhere. With Las Vegas oddsmaker Bovada, the odds are 13/10, an implied probability of 43.5 percent, that Trump will be impeached by the House of Representatives in his first term.

I say he resigns

I hope we can get both him and pense to resign the same day

So neither get the chance to pick a VP and that it all goes to Nancy

A good insight.

I also do not think Trump is an aberration. I think he is the expected outcome of two decades of xenophobia, racial resentment, and authoritarianism pushed by the GOP, rightwing talk radio, and the broader wingnutosphere.

I mean, this is the political party that gave us Tricky Dick Nixon, George Dumbya Bush, Sarah Palin, and Donald J. Drumpf. How far away are we from the broader GOP embracing someone like David Duke?

The antidote, it seems to me, is to strengthen and re-invigorate our democracy. That means aggressively eliminating gerrymandering, getting rid of Citizen's United, punishing voter suppression, and simply making it as easy as reasonably possible for people to exercise their right to vote.

The GOP only understands punishment. In a functioning and fair democracy, they would have lost 80 seats in the House last month, rather than the 41 seat blue wave they had to endure.

In a functioning democracy, the authoritarian rightwing could potentially get crushed in election after election, until the GOP reforms itself into something resembling the more moderate party of Eisenhower we used to see decades ago.

Parimutual, not a house banked game. It's a market. They could start at "gravity will move an apple up tomorrow 50/50" and the odds will adjust PDQ.

Fact remains 40% of people willing to risk money on the question think he is shitcanned or quits.

Yes, the aforementioned foaming at the mouth liberal lunatics.

Impeachment proceeding are looking better and better...oh please please...it ensures Trump's re-election

Chances are excellent House Democrats will drum up something to impeach Trump with.

Between certified wackos like Mad Maxine, the determined to make a name for himself Little Shifty Schitt and the legions of TDS afflicted voters in democrat precincts who *demand* impeachment—you can all but take it to the bank.

The only real question is how big of a circus it will be. Keep the popcorn close by lol.

But so many of them are outright immature. E.g., you don't insult the people you once hired. Tillerson lazy and dumb as a rock, the former CEO of Exxon? Really? Calling your AG Mr. Magoo? That's childish.
Bernie inspired many dims to admit to being socialists and they're now unafraid to run for office as such. Dims are now unafraid to support open borders with medicare for all, "free college ", forgiveness of student loans, with no plan whatsoever to pay for it other than tax da rich.
Maybe Trump has inspired a new generation of republicans to run for office that are unafraid to enforce existing immigration laws, give the middle finger to political correctness,be pragmatic about renewable energy and allow development of natural resources using permitting processes and safeguards already in place without being a blowhard. Have a little class or even a little charm. Trump has neither and as much as I hate to agree with dims I agree with them on this.
Don't get me wrong, Trump has his positives, especially his fight against deep state corruption. Once this Mueller thing is done with I expect him and Lindsey Graham to come out with guns blazing. Which is why I don't see an end to Mueller anytime soon. He knows that.

last thing I care about is tweets.
all I care about is the agenda,,long after Trump is gone we'll either have a secure border and new trade agreements -
or not.
The rest is forgetful -momentary shining objects

You’re common sense is overwhelming.

It’s almost too much to take at times lol.

Nadler is on the run with his "campaign finance violations require impeachment".

They can't stop themselves. impeachment is a gold gift to Republicans -and they probably know that.
But TDS rules their minds

So just say it; you don't like a President that is totally transparent and prefer the polished kind who can lie to you and appear convincing?

I don't disagree about his style; but compared to what we have had for decades, it is refreshing to see a guy that just lays it all out there.

I can't wait to see these Democratic fools try to force a President to testify to a non-crime.

its why I support Trump. Florida is full of loud mouthed New Yorkers. It's painful to hear them speak.

Trump's tweets can be the same ( although if he DIDN'T Tweet his rebuttals would not be covered by the MS press)

Our politics is 99% noise - both parties..forget the noise... get results to help the country.
