Political correctness has nothing to do with decorum or manners. And nothing at all to do with "decency". Political correctness is merely a political tool designed to manipulate and even blind people to reality [harsh or otherwise]. It often helps politicians, who are corrupt and indecent, reach powerful positions... to the detriment of the public they are supposed to be serving. The end goal of political correctness, as far as Liberals are concerned, is all about controlling the masses, narrowing speech, stifling debate, and limiting truths from being exposed because of who it might "offend". None of these things are good, and none of these things will ever help societies make it through challenges stronger than they were before...
