Disagree. Go down the list of words that are shunned in respectable circles and they are the same ones your mommy taught you not to utter in pleasant company. There is no public good or light shown on truth that is beneficial in any way lost by not using offensive language of the kind the KKK might apply to Jews, Blacks, Italians etc. Besides, I'm not talking about an edict or fiat here, it is the power of shaming by boycott or censure by custom. That enjoys the same level of freedom as does ugly speech. The only difference between my right to ostracize and shame a foul mouthed uneducated boorish jerk and your right to be one is that I am on the side of decency, and I am pro decency and you are pro jerk.
 
Saying the N word is indecent. Stating that Brealsey Manning and Braitlyn Jenner have mental abnormalities, which, untreated, cause them to think that they are females, is deemed politically incorrect.
