Hillary would have adhered to it out of expedience. I'm not convinced she actually bought into it herself.

Trump doesn't have a PC bone in his body. He may not even know what it is.
 
Trump may as well launch or explode the entire US strategic nuclear triad at 12:01. The resulting devastation of the earth by his presidency even if he didn't do that is the same anyway.

What's wrong with political correctness? It basically just means don't be a fucking asshole. Why is that so painful? Be nice, don't drop the N word, don't make fun of overweight people or handicapped people by using epithets. Serious question, why does having some basic decency chap your hide? Is it your suspicion that it is insincere or hypocritical? If so, that is just a projection. If you are for basic decency you are good with "political correctness." Just because you want to live in Howard Stern's world doesn't mean that should be the standard.

She was a little too PC for me, but the Dem base is so diverse, it's a requirement nowadays. They have to come across as being as inclusive as possible.

Might be somewhat annoying, but it doesn't take a genius to understand that on the grand scale, all things considered etc, it still beats the hell out of what we're going to be getting from Slump and misers of the GOP Congress.

Basic decency is defined differntly by different people. Muslims define it with a burkha.

Decency has long left our society- decency is respect and social grace of which Americans of all stripes have none. It's basic respect for everyone
PC much more then that - it's forcing political views on speech.
Darla used to give me shit when I called Powers/Rice/Hillary "harpies" (of war)..I mentioned harpies was used by Skakespeare,
but that wasn't good enough for that crowd.
Same with South Americans or Hispanic..for some reason Latino was uncool.

Then there was that INSANITY of using Title IX reduction of funds to states who would not use "gender identity" as
required by the feds for bathroom use ( a classic ex. of federal tyranny -cannot the states decide that for themselves?)

Plus it's censorship at it's heart.

How about when she would go down the laundry list of required nods to her perceived constituents.
Much talk about black,LGBT,"sisters" disabled..etc.. never did she ever mention whites.

Now I've got a politically thick skin and I get her "inclusiveness" was nothing more then a political sop-
but even I began to think" well if the Dems don't recognize my value -then I don't need them either."

How about "My fellow Americans?" isn't that all inclusive?

Trump won because people are under informed, they think things like, "I'm glad they are repealing Obamacare, I like ACA", and he's going to stop Muslims from coming to the USA, and he's going to deport all the illegals, and he's going to lock her up and healthcare for everyone. A chicken in every pot!
