Thoughts on the Republican Convention.

Why does it matter to you that they got a delegate? Its an interesting threshold.

I'm just thinking from a fairness point of view that since delegates will decide the candidate then anybody that has a delegate that they won should be included in the convention. One delegate or 1236 delegates they are all equal since none got the 1237.

Should others also be on the list, or only those with delegates?

Do you think the party is ethically bound to look at the intent of the voters when deciding a candidate, if Trump got the most votes, but not the majority, should they make him the nominee out of respect of those voters? (Trump anyway)

Problematic.......the intent of which voters?....the voters from January were not aware of the things said and done by the candidates in March........those in February were not aware of the things said and done in April.......the voters in May not aware of June......can you honestly say that every voter in Iowa would vote the same way today as they did in January?.......

If there is a brokered convention what will happen is the parties involved will sit down and reach an agreement.......maybe you'll see Trump as Cruz's VP........maybe you'll see Kasich as Trump's VP, but what you will see is what Trump and Cruz both agree with or you simply won't see it.......

You make a good point about what the voters would have done had they known what we know now.

So you think it will be up to Cruz and Trump to come up with a resolution in private and then announce it?

Considering the egos involved they could be in private until well after November trying to come up with an agreement, don't you think?

Honestly I'd be really disappointed with Ted Cruz if he agreed to be Trump's VP or offered VP to Trump.

no......said nothing like that......I said what happens will be something they agree with or it won't happen......the RNC won't carry away a deal that isn't accepted by both......just.....won't......happen.......

And if they cant get them to agree to a deal?

What if they both say I wont agree to anything but me being in the number one chair?

I am taking ban bets right now for anyone that thinks trump wont get the nomination

Any amount of time people would wish to do.

You people are dumb as shit. Seriously.

Do you believe that requiring an ID to vote disenfranchises some people?

And I mean in a way OTHER than them just not having and/or are not willing to show an ID.
Requiring a specific type of ID to vote deinfrancises some voters, the requiring proof of ID does not.

They are starting next year to mail ballots for municipal elections, apparently the local officials aren't concerned about photo IDs. I think this is the way a lot of the voting will be handled in the future.
