I am willing to believe that wouldn't happen in a truly bad situation like Manchester. So can somebody sensible answer?

I didn't pose the question and I would like to think that there would be no charge. If enough people tell me that then I will counter the propaganda. As always your snark is worse than your bite.sensible answers are only available for sensible questions.......foolish propaganda gets no answers at all......
I didn't pose the question
Is it that hard to get a sensible answer out of anybody?I didn't say you did pose the question in the OP.....that's why I only answered your question and not hers.......
Why are you such a cranky old git, anybody else like to answer?why do you think hospitals would have to bill anyone for anything, don't they just let people die without giving them any care?......
you do realize I'm the only one who bothered to give a fuck about your thread, right?.......you should be nicer to me.....Why are you such a cranky old git, anybody else like to answer?

Yes I do realise that, I can only draw the conclusion that it is an accurate statement.you do realize I'm the only one who bothered to give a fuck about your thread, right?.......you should be nicer to me.....

So it's true then? If an American had been badly injured in a bombing in the UK they would be treated on the NHS for free, no questions asked. I guess that tells you all you need to know about the difference between our countries.Pay up or else. No refuge for takers.

I am talking more about the general principle, that somebody gets badly injured in a terrorist incident. Nobody over here, irrespective of nationality, would be expected to pay for something like that. But here a fair number of them would be in Medicaid and treated free, so there's that lol.

If you get a ride from a local volunteer ambulance corp, then you get a request for a donation. If you got a ride from an ambulance company, then you get a rather large bill. I was transferred 30 miles from one hospital to another. I was already stabilized, and had no attention from the ambulance crew. They billed me $1500 for a 40 minute ride. Most companies around here don't have contracts with insurance companies, so you pay the bill and apply it to your deductible. No it isn't true though I can't speak for other states.
I have never been billed for an ambulance ride for myself, my children or my very elderly mother.
There really isn't enough info in this parable to make that distinction. Thanks to ACA, all or most of those kids who were injured were covered by their parents' insurance policy. So it's true then? If an American had been badly injured in a bombing in the UK they would be treated on the NHS for free, no questions asked. I guess that tells you all you need to know about the difference between our countries.

It is a simple enough question, so I can only assume that with all the ducking and diving that is going on here that the answer is yes you will be billed or your next of kin will be if you die. That just would not happen over here, indeed if it did there would be a huge outcry, so there's your principle.aren't you just pretending that's a principle?........if someone gets badly injured in a non-terrorist incident they still have your health care coverage.......it hasn't got anything at all to do with giving thought to a terrorist incident.....
