Those are just a few.

But as I said. If Althea was supposedly "stable" he could have made the choice to travel another way and not pay what he thought was an exorbitant fee.

Did he ask up front what it cost? If not why not?

I have been there several times on business in the past, I have a good friend from way back who lives in San Jose, I have another who lives in Vancouver who I went to see a couple of years back and we drove down to Seattle. I also have relatives in New York, Boston and Chicago. Indeed my oldest son us going to Las Vegas soon for a Cisco conference, so where gave you been oh mouthy one?

well what I do know is if you need an ambulance one will come for you and take you to the hospital closest to you, or to the hospital of choice if it's not uber urgent. And bill you and or your insurance company later.
AND
In the event of a massacre of some sort, like Manchester, no one is going to bill the family for the ambulance ride to the hospital or the Morgue, that's ridiculous
 
When my daughter was last over there, a friend of hers fell unconscious in the street. An ambulance turned up like magic, but having established she had no insurance and couldn't pay, drove away fast.

Holy fuck being a dick is your default setting matey. I ask what would happen because I genuinely didn't know and all I get for the most part is bluster and bullshit. I have several friends and relatives over there, and I take it from your non answer that you've never been anywhere. I have traveled the world and met many Americans they always seem to be good people, maybe it's mostly the good ones who travel?

OK fair enough, but the ambulance ride was a tangential issue. What about the costs for the stay in hospital would those be written off? All I want to know is this bullshit or not, maybe you can answer?
