Thank you once again Nordi for posting the proof yet once again that you cannot offer a post without a juvenile insult, proving that civility isn’t your strong point and you strongly desire attempting to make somebody think you’re cute!
You are pushing states setting up their own insurance. 50 different plans are a buffet for healthcare providers to pick the best menu for their profits.
Well Nordi, unlike you, I and our founders had no problems with profits as long as the profiteers are subjected to a free market whereby “competition” is the order of the day. It’s called real capitalism the only tried and tested successful means of satisfactory results for human economy and the human condition.
50 differing states health insurance plans aren’t likely, but even if they were, the fact that folks can move from state to state And vote with their feet and in a competitive market places is bound to bring the best plans to the surface, the better politicians being reelected and the lesser successful sates researching the better state’s plans to find out what they’re doing right and what the researching states are doing wrong and WALA!!!! Eventually all 50 states with good/great healthcare insurance plans.
But oddly, in Canada, it worked. Tommy Douglas started a plan in Saskatchewan that was universal health care. The other provinces saw how much better it worked and Canada has national, universal healthcare.
Thank you Nordi for making my case for me!!! However America has 50 states and Canada’s Single Payer plan doesn’t prove that it’s the best kind of healthcare insurance. Some Canadians with financial means come to America and pay out of pocket for critical operations to keep from the wait times in Canada. But if you believe that Single Payer is the ticket, then why would you oppose a state from having the opportunity and political power to institute such?
In Canada, they were looking for a better way to serve the people. Here, we have health insurance companies and the medical establishment only interested in maxing profits.
Anyone with firing neurons knows our system sucks.
Well Nordi you and I both know that following the Constitution and in particular the 10th amendment will never happen in this country. The title of my OP makes note of that reality. Thus y’all BIG government lovers will surely continue along with federal unconstitutional meddling in our healthcare insurance business, following the lobbying dictates of BIG Pharma and the healthcare insurance industries that donate the most loot to the coffers of the crooked politicians in Washington of both parties. Eventually, in our ever more socialist conducted nation y’all BIG government lovers are gonna get your Single Payer FUCK UP. Happily, I’m not planning to be around to suffer that mad dash to incompetent bankruptcy!!!
