The monstrous evil of the GOP and Texas abortion laws

I completely agree with you on this particular case. I've been on record saying that the texas republicans are almost completely dictatorial in nature

that being said, fuck you and your feminist bullshit beliefs. you are every bit as vile and evil as the GOP. you're a complete fucking hypocrite accusing others of hate when it's also YOU that are full of hate.

Hey, fuck you too!!!! You can even turn something we agree on into a pissing contest you pathetic, feckless troll. Your insecurity ain't my problem pal

I know your power of comprehension is low but Texas has ZERO authority over the laws in other states. The Texas code says that you can't assist some violating its code on abortion. That means you can't help someone get an illegal abortion in Texas. The law only applies in Texas you simple minded moron. Abortions in other states are not covered in Texas law because they aren't under our jurisdiction.

You haven't pointed to where the law restricts it to abortions performed in Texas in the subchapter.

You also haven't addressed the fact that anyone can sue under the law without repercussions but costing the person being sued to spend money for an attorney.

As a real nurse should know any pregnancy carries a risk of miscarriage. If this woman did in fact miscarry she would have to undergo a DC which is essentially an abortion of products of conception. Similar to what she seeks.

She didn't miscarry, you abject drooling idiot. That's why it's a legal case now. And no, a D&C is not an abortion although under Texas law -- and in many Catholic hospitals -- it could technically be considered one.

"For the most part, state and local lawmakers have not tested whether Kavanaugh would hold to this view if a travel ban actually became law. But a few jurisdictions in Texas are now breaking with this consensus. As the Washington Post reports, two Texas counties and two Texas cities have passed local ordinances making it illegal to transport someone through one of these counties or cities for the purpose of obtaining an out-of-state abortion."

They need to stop pretending they don't want that to happen.

Many legal experts have speculated that under Texas's abortion laws, anyone driving a pregnant woman to another state to obtain an abortion could be liable to being sued by someone else... like maybe the baby daddy, or an upset grandmother, or a busybody coworker. So could a person who gives the pregnant woman an airline ticket so she can fly to Mexico.

Yep. And there are, today, organizations that are camped out at abortion clinics looking for out of state plates and reporting that back to these counties that have made it illegal to pass through. They are matching pictures taken with those plates. Texas has turned into a state full of disgusting, evil abortion vigilantes, and the Fake Doc couldn't be happier. Because he lacks empathy, compassion or integrity. It's that simple.
