We'll just see if the VOCAL MAJORITY TURNS OUT TO BE THE VOTING MAJORITY!

Personally I believe it will be the very same people!

Last cycle, a lot of Democrats actually voted for Donald Trump. This time around, enough Republicans to actually make a difference will vote for Joe Biden.

Don't forget Biden has no real enemies on the Republican side of Congress- They actually like him personally.

A lot of the old Reagan Republicans thought Joe Biden was their favorite Democrat in Congress. They refused to work with anyone else.

Granted a lot of them are dead and gone now obviously, but History bodes well for Biden to completely close the mystery gap between Democrats and Republicans.

Let's face it, he's the best candidate for bridging a lot of the divide right now.

Even the Republicans need a little break right now from Donald Trump!

The stars are all lined up for Biden this time!

That's a strong possibility. The Democrat leadership is hosting several Republicans endorsing Biden. Colin Powell has presentation tonight and I'm looking forward to hearing it. They plan on an eight minute video showing the friendship and mutual work ethic between Biden and McCain.

FWIW, I'm guessing a lot more retired Generals will come out for Biden over Trump, perhaps depending upon what happens next week.

Thanks to China, no one (except one Dr. who lost his life to it) knew early on how contagious and deadly the China flu was. It was already widespread before the rest of the world knew how contagious it was.
Obama didn't do shit, neither were nearly as widespread as the China flu. How would he have been any better at containing it? Face it, if Trump wanted to seal our borders early on, you libs would be livid.
 
I've been thinking back to the primaries and it strikes me that the real reason the demmycrats are having a virtual convention has nothing to do with the corona virus........remember when the Bernie Bros threatened to make this years convention worse than Chicago 68 if Bernie didn't win?......

I like the new format! I think it’s the wave of the future. I’ve enjoyed the last two nights. It isn’t as boring as past conventions.

You can attempt to divert responsibility from trump by pointing at China, but China has been reasonably successful at containing the pandemic.

Why can't Trump?


Deplorables favorite federal medical expert, Ms. Brix, says we should have emulated Italy in our approach. Although Italy was hammered hard, they took aggressive and decisive action to bring the pandemic reasonably under control.

So, the Republicans don’t like the Virtual Convention, but what will Trump do? He can’t even make up his mind where to accept the nomination. The Democrats have been putting together their convention for 4 months. I can’t wait to see what the Republicans come up with in the short time they have.

It will probably suck like Trump’s inauguration did.

Look, no knock on the Italians, but they are kind of the red headed step child of the developed world. How did Trump allow Italy to outperform us in efficiency, public health care, and know-how?

Agreed on this point. I think Zoom-type interviews and conventions will be a lasting legacy of Trump fucking up the COVID response. Thanks Trump!
