Agreed it isn't possible with Trump, but the Republicans expected to win 2016. They just didn't expect to win it with Donald "The J is for Jenius" Trump. Note his first year in office. Note how any Republicans who stood against him lost in the midterms.

Trump cowed the entire Republican party proving there is no GOP, just a bunch of gutless blowhards. Trump, never being very bright but always ruthless like a two year-old, effectively took a couple of Republicans, lined them up against a wall, shot them then said "Who's with me?"

The good news for the Republicans is that Trump's end is nigh. The bad news is that it might be at the cost of both the White House and the Senate.

FWIW, I've been watching Fox news since 6AM to see their response and, predictably, they've gone nuts over the convention. Jim Jorden jumped in with his own comments, all of which are predictable like most of the convention itself.

One thing Fox mentioned is that the McCloskey''s will be speaking at the Republican convention. That should be pretty interesting to see.

Covid19 was never much of anything. It still isn't. The 'pandemic' is just fear mongering by the news media and people like you.

I will just take a cue from Charlie Dent, one of my all-time favorite Republicans, who was interviewed last night after the end of the first night.

He said, as far as his opinions go- Last Night's Performance was heartfelt and "On target for a huge upset" for the Republicans!

He added that Trump's first term was a nightmare and a failure- and the Republicans are going to have to regroup and figure it all out someday!

They also didn't shoot anyone. The brandishing was enough. Brandishing works. It's even legal when done in self defense, such as this was.

Possible. It's still mostly about the "D" and the "R". Most Independents already think the Democrats have moved far too left. The thought of a Democrat Tribunal in Washington might scare them enough to vote for the "R".

Now if you are expecting the DNC to be that kind of entertainment for yourself, I would skip it, as it don't really apply to you!

I watched the first night, and probably will watch the 4th night, and will skip the middle two.

What I saw did not bore me, nor did it upset me or disappoint me in any way.

But then I just have normal expectations of what a DNC would be during a national Crisis caused by a REPUBLICAN CROOKED PRESIDENT like this one!

The manufactured 'crisis' was not caused by Trump. It was caused by the news media and the Democrats.
