Tax the poor

If you know, why don't you answer? I know. I have to fill out my tax return every year. This is actually quite funny. You are probably desperately googling to try and find the answers. But you don't know. Because you don't have a pot to piss in.

You fill out your tax return? Cannot afford an accountant...."rich guy"??? LMAO! What a fucking fraud.

I can. I just chose not to. I am also my own investment advisor. That's why I make ten times more money than you do, even in retirement. I'm smart and savvy. You are a fucking moron.

So, the point I was trying to make before this troll showed up and started humping my leg is this....

My assets are primarily held in trust. I also have significant holdings in a Roth. Because most of my non-qualified holdings are held in the Roth, and because almost all of my other income is long term capital gains, I have a large income and pay around 10%. That, of course, makes no sense. My income is taxed at a lesser rate than a guy with a family making 20% of what I make. That is a broken system.

Did you EVER learn anything about economics? Don't answer, it's rhetorical. Lower income people spend ALL of their disposable income. The rich, of course, do not. So your idiotic suggestion would essentially cause a slash in consumer spending and result in one of the worst recessions in the history of the country. Aside from the casual cruelty, which of course was the whole intent of this post, it is also idiotic beyond belief.

Thanks for sharing your brilliance.

Your welcome. Someone had to do it!

So, was this just a flame thread, or do you actually believe the stuff you post? It's a serious question. Because you proposal would cause an economic disaster. Not sure if you realized that or not.

It should be obvious by how I worded everything that I was kidding. This joint has been too serious of late.

BTW, don't take my question the wrong way. I've come to understand you aren't stupid. And most of the time, your threads are intended to tweak the libs. There is truth in them, but they always take it to the next step. Which, to be honest, I don't mind, because it has the potential to generate a good discussion. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but you don't appear to be the garden variety. It's a compliment. Don't let it go to your head.

BTW..........I also have a used Pot for sale thats already been pissed in if anyone is interested. Its in pretty nice shape for being used too,.....has kind of a South west painted design running thru it. Quite nice IMO. Any questions just give me a PM. And yes,...all piss has been removed. Thanks....

Thanks.....no offense taken.

The poor pay a greater percentage of their money in taxes than the wealthy and middle class do. https://www.americanprogress.org/ar...ericans face higher, more pay just 1.9 percent. Just advocate killing and eating the poor.

It is true that the overall U.S. tax code is progressive—that is, the rich usually pay higher tax rates than the poor or middle class. (from your link).

The poor pay a higher percentage of their income in payroll taxes. But, the bottom 50% of earners pay only 5% of all federal income taxes. That 5% becomes a negative after they receive the Earned Income Tax Credit and child tax credit. They help finance state-local government but almost no federal functions except their own Social Security and Medicare. Not a criticism, just a fact.

The white, working class republican rank and file would take the brunt of it, and they'll mostly deserve it for voting against their own best interests.

Also, if a 1040 form is required to vote, the pigfucking orangtan will become disenfranchised.

This is all due to our obscene wealth gap. The tax code has been crafted to help the top 1 percent. Taxing the poor more will not derive revenue. It will result in greater food stamp and rent assistance. The raise in the Min Wage is the best tool to cut assistance. Biden is raising taxes on corporations and the rich, it is about time.

If anything taxes the poor, it is sales tax.

After all, the poor spend most or all of their money on goods and services that get taxed. People who are rich have more discretionary income they can invest or spend in ways that don't get taxed.
