Supreme Court slaps down Trump again on DACA

Only the Congress can make changes to immigration law.

The change to DACA was done by Obama by an E.O. Not legal.

its really bad news- not that the TDS crowd cares about such niceties= but it even violates separation of powers
if an XO is forced to be treated as a law

They have no leg to stand on to claim that they still function as a court of law.

America is melting down.

i must be missing something about this "procedure" but since when does an XO need any procedure?
You simply order it

"The court ruled that the administration's decision to rescind the Deferred Action on Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program violated the Administrative Procedure Act (APA), which sets out rulemaking procedures for federal agencies."
foxnews.com

"We do not decide whether DACA or its rescission are sound policies," Roberts wrote in the majority opinion. "'The wisdom' of those decisions 'is none of our concern.' We address only whether the agency complied with the procedural requirement that it provide a reasoned explanation for its action."

There was no ruling on DACA, just the procedure .

A procedural matter...easily corrected.

"Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals
Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals is a United States immigration policy that allows some individuals with unlawful presence in the United States after being brought to the country as children to receive a renewable two-year period of deferred action from deportation and become eligible for a work permit in the U.S.Wikipedia"

Children. Brought over as children. May not know Spanish, may not know anyone in Mexico (or wherever). Brought up as Americans. American Schools. American Culture. American Values.

Illegally! American culture? then stop waving the mexican flag when you protest this country! wake up,

DACA is an immigration policy, not a law.

WTF are you talking about now? So you immediately go from 'illegal' to 'Mexican'. Your racist is showing.

Where are the majority of those children from asshole? My point which as usual goes over your head, is even if they no only English and American values they are illegal and when they protest they wave what? A mexican flag, get bent, I can't wait for October!

You mean you get bent by your imaginary slight that never happens? Okay, keep playing poor widdle victim of the mean DACA recipients waving imaginary mexican flags. Fits you to a tee.

Your ignorance is showing.

"Mexicans and Central Americans are estimated to account for roughly two-thirds (67 percent or 7.6 million) of the unauthorized immigrants in the United States as of 2012-16, MPI estimates. About 1.8 million (16 percent) were from Asia; 685,000 (6 percent) from South America; 579,000 (5 percent) from Europe, Canada, or Oceania; 351,000 (3 percent) from the Caribbean; and 318,000 (3 percent) from Africa."

The kids, who are now working and in college, only know America. They do not know life in a foreign country. They are Americans. Many served in the military. They pay taxes and work.

Is there a point you are trying to make?

Yes, Jacky...allow me to help you with your confusion.

DACA is not law, it's an immigration policy.

Immigration Laws and changes to immigration law, such as Obama's DACA Executive Order, must be done by Congress.

The Supreme Court ruled that the E.O by the Trump Administration for eliminating Obama's illegal DACA change by Executive Order which allowed hundreds of thousands of illegal children who were brought here illegally, has certain required procedures, such a posting in the Congressional Record etc.. and be followed.

Easily corrected.

They did so, illegally.

DACA is not a law and the E.O that was written, illegally, by Obama will be eliminated.
