South Africa on edge of anarchy as president demands white farmers’ land is SEIZED

Stupid whites should have left 25 years ago when their govt sold them out. Black rule ALWAYS leads to persecution of whites and a return to the stone age.

Apartheid never ended in SA. They simply replaced black discrimination with white discrimination and the result is collapse.

I think we can all agree on the first two words, a period after that would have sufficed.

No one paid anything hon, and Christian Whites advanced slavery around the globe.

Slavery existed all over since the beginning of mankind. :palm:

It is White Christians that led the global abolition movement. Don't doubt me.

Those are not mutually exclusive, both can be argued. The Confederacy was quite christian as was american slavery and christianity was leveraged to preach subservience to the master. Papal Bulls of the 1500s called for enslavement of the natives and ethnic cleansing of North America. You can claim whatever you like, the record is what it is. Sloganeering won't alter that.

The initiating tweet by Trump is just an attempted deflection away from his current problems, nothing stirs a segment of his base better than race, or did you really think Trump cared about white landowners in South Africa? All you are doing is perpetuating the deflection

Whites being left behind by the economic system as we redistribute more societal wealth to the aristocracy will have to be pointed at something.

Never fails. When blacks take over, everything collapses. Not just in african countries; we see it in american cities too. Detroit baltimore camden cinncinnati St louis ...

Blacks are mentally inferior and simply can't run a modern country. 99% of africans are illiterate.
And yet they still manage to have a higher IQ than you...

Private equity investment in Southern Africa more than doubles
Jul 27 2018

Cape Town - Private equity investment in Southern Africa more than doubled (102%) in 2017 to a total of R31.3bn, according to the Southern African Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (SAVCA) 2018 Private Equity Industry Survey released on Thursday.

This is well above the total annual average of R14.7bn over the previous 10 years.

SAVCA and its research partner Deloitte surveyed 47 fund managers representing a total of 80 funds, all with the mandate to invest in Southern Africa and other select African markets. Although this is the 18th edition of the survey, it is the first time Deloitte has been involved.

According to Clinton Wolder of Deloitte, there is a lot of "hunger for investment" in private equity in Africa and a need for quality assets. He said "money is ready to go" to anything linked to consumers - for instance agriculture, financial services and food and drink.

"The Southern African market is agile and can adjust to a changing political environment. The private equity sector is a well-established asset class in the area," he said.

HAHAHA. Do you actually think blacks are mentally equal to whites?? Then explain why

1. Black-americans come in last in all standardized tests. Asian-americans do fine on all the tests so it's not due to cultural bias in the tests.

2. Africa is by far the poorest and most backward continent on the planet. All of black africa is now controlled by blacks and has been for decades so it's not due to racism.

3. No black has ever won a Science Nobel Prize unless you count one in 1979 for the semi-science of economics. They have won many nobels in non-brain fields like Peace and also in Literature so it is not due to racism.

4. Out of 1552 chess grandmasters in the world, only THREE are black.
...and yet their IQ still manages to exceed yours.

The Boers are in big trouble.
Russia seems to be accepting 15,000 of them but Holland is silent.
I suspect a great many deaths will result.

Well I think the writing is on the wall. The African majority wants the white descendants out of their country. Thus you are seeing a diaspora of white South Africans fleeing the country.

Given South Africa’s history of white minority oppression of the majority can anyone be really surprised?

What date did Trump tweet about it? ... Now, look at the date of the thread :palm:

Chinese investors plan R132bn metallurgical complex in South Africa

The project will produce alloys including stainless steel.

Chinese investors signed agreements to build a $10 billion (R132 billion) metallurgical complex in South Africa during President Xi Jinping’s state visit this week and hope to start construction next year, an executive involved in the project and a provincial official told Reuters.

South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa said at a joint news conference with Xi on Tuesday that China had committed to invest $14.7 billion in the South African economy, but neither leader mentioned the $10 billion complex.

China seeks to power Africa

Lenders from China trebled their commitment to African projects in 2017, with Africa’s needy energy sector receiving the most interest, while Chinese currency may play a growing role in coming years.

The amount of money loaned to African energy and infrastructure projects by Chinese lenders almost trebled in 2017, with Nigeria and Kenya the top recipients, while the level of investment from China in transport projects declined.

According to figures released by Chicago-headquartered law firm Baker McKenzie and IJGlobal, the value of the loans rose from USD 3 billion to USD 8.8 billion from 2016 to 2017.

Africa has been a priority for Chinese investment for some time and that was underlined by the fact that the amount of money loaned to sub-Saharan Africa accounted for almost half of the total of USD 19 billion loaned by Chinese financial institutions since 2014.

Nigeria and Kenya received nearly 40% of the investment since 2014, but 19 countries have benefitted in total, including Ethiopia, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

China and South Africa are part of the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) group of nations, which held its ninth annual summit in South Africa last month. Speaking at the BRICS energy event before the main summit, Kieran Whyte, head of energy, mining and infrastructure at Baker McKenzie in Johannesburg, explained the closeness of the Chinese relationship with African nations.

“Chinese president Xi Jinping’s recent tour of African countries ahead of the summit is proof of the increasing interdependence of the maturing but still fast-growing Chinese economy and developing economies in Africa.”

He added: “This is much more sophisticated outbound lending than the cliché about China investing in African minerals and rail to get commodities to China to feed manufacturing – the data clearly shows Chinese lending predominantly shifting towards African power projects.”

Like I said, those are not mutually exclusive, both can be argued. And slavery is still legal in the US today, that's what corporate convict labor leasing is in for profit prisons. And it is still practiced on some migrant labor farms in the US.

Still, the African slave trade was the largest forced migration in history - to the americas, by your christians and your christian nation continues enslavement to this very day. Slavery is both christian and american, your nation and it's seed wealth were built on slavery and genocide.

Well in that case you won't be very surprised when South Africa collapses due to ANC corruption and incompetence. My mate Dave, who was an environmental lecturer at Oxford and still does research, was in the Karoo recently doing soil erosion studies. He spent a night in Orania and said it is totally white and there is no crime to speak of, he also said it was pretty dull but that's another story.

The West sat back and watched whilst Rwanda descended into genocide, will they do the same again because the likes of BAC, Guano and Bourbon blackwash the coming collapse. The Boers intend to build a new nation there and turn the desert into fertile land. If anybody be can do it they can, needless to say there are no blacks there.

Genocide in South Africa: now that’s a black-and-white issue

Last time I was in South Africa I spent two weeks deep in the Karoo, that desiccated wasteland in the Northern Cape which is home only to a handful of jackals, the occasional springbok and supporters of the Afrikaaner Resistance Movement. I had been visiting Orania, a smallish town in which no black people are allowed. Set up by the son-in-law of Hendrik Verwoerd, its existence now is very grudgingly protected by the South African government under regulations which preserve minority cultures — ah, the irony.

I was doing a documentary, the gist being: ghastly, ghastly, racist white people. I have to admit that I, as a white supremacist bigot, was a little more equivocal about the issue than the rest of the crew, which is perhaps why the programme never got on TV. Even back then — this was 2011 — white farmers were being driven from their land by the blacks and fleeing to Zambia, or the UK, while senior members of the ANC demanded the spilling of Boer blood.

Didn’t the Orania people therefore have a point, I wondered, even if it was one only of self-preservation? The point — a dream, for some of them — was to carve out a new nation for Afrikaaners across a hugely unprofitable swathe of the north of the country, from Kimberley to the coast. A new Boer trek, a new homeland. And of course they would make it work, despite the aridity and the inhospitable landscape, because when it comes to farming and modernity they are extremely competent. Racist and competent, while the blacks were racist and hilariously incompetent. Orania was thriving and, like Israel (which is not a bad comparison), turning the desert green.

Prim, reserved, polite, little kids marched in line to the schoolroom like creatures out of a John Wyndham novel, or maybe an Amish community in the south of Ohio. In the pleasant and leafy high street, baking in the heat, I spoke to a woman doing her shopping. She would have been about 80, I’d guess. I asked her if she liked Orania. Yes, she did indeed. But what about the fact that there are no black people allowed into the place? ‘That, young man, is the very best thing about it,’ she replied. Horrible old cow, everybody agreed, viewing the shots later.

By this point the ANC was well on its way to reducing a country which, during apartheid, was easily the richest on the continent south of the Sahel (and afforded its black citizens the highest average wage and longest life expectancy in Africa) into a typically corrupt, massively useless, vicious and racist one-party state which is on the verge of civil war and where the blacks are worse off than ever and the whites are being murdered or evicted.

Hell, only sayin’, you know? That is what has happened. We may not like to accept it, but that’s how it is. I believe something similar happened next door in Zimbabwe, no? Still, at least in both countries the black majority are in charge of their destinies and that fact necessarily trumps every other. There’s nothing quite like white liberal self-flagellation to create misery for all races — it’s worse, in its effects, than colonialism. Incidentally, virtually nobody inhabited the Karoo before whitey got there. The Afrikaaners have at least as much right to the territory as the people who have taken it off them.

The plight of the South African whites does not much bother us these days. They’ve got their comeuppance, the bastards, is the approved view. We prefer to agonise about the real or supposed privations of people who fit into our expedient political worldview: the Rohingya, the Palestinians, the black Africans.

There is another narrative about South Africa to the one I have presented here, and a narrative which has almost as much force and should be heard. That other narrative is the only one you will hear, pretty much. Indeed if you were a foreigner and dared to articulate my narrative, you might well be kicked out of the country.

Shockingly, almost I might say unbelievably, a Canadian libertarian blogger has been refused entry to the UK because she subscribes to the narrative which I outlined above. Lauren Southern believes that genocide is being enacted against the whites in South Africa. Any other brand of genocide and she’d have been courted and asked to give evidence to a select committee, and probably be guest-editing Newsnight and presenting Woman’s Hour right now. She arrived at Calais, was interrogated and told: no entry. Two other supposed alt-right speakers were also denied entry to the UK, via Luton airport. What the hell is going on? I rang the Home Office and the only thing they would tell me is that they considered Southern’s presence here was ‘not conducive to the public good’. No further explanation.

There are an awful lot of people in the UK right now whose presence here is not conducive to the public good, beginning with the Home Secretary, Amber Rudd. She is palpably no good to anybody. We have just waved goodbye to a state visit from the crown prince of Saudi Arabia, whose grim, totalitarian, misogynistic regime is responsible for a grotesque humanitarian disaster in Yemen and whose country is the no. 1 exporter of Islamic terrorists to the rest of the world. Over the last 15 years we have let in Islamic fundamentalists who want us all dead, racist Palestinians who want Israel wiped off the map, and all manner of deranged leftist academics who believe that the West — and in particular the UK — is to blame for every evil present in the world. They all got through immigration OK. Most of them were feted, mainly at the taxpayer’s expense. What happened to Lauren Southern is, frankly, chilling. Her views are broadly in line with those of the US President — and a fairly hefty proportion of our population, I would guess. Why has there been no furore?

Any speculation on why it's a bloodbath regarding private property ownership?

People are poor and desperate and land is valuable either way. A lot of them have cultural and familial ties to land. A lot of the land they have ties and legal rights to they cannot get back because they fall in conservation areas which are forever lost lands more or less so the government has to find new land for them. Add in millions of powerless AIDS orphans for whom that land is their only hope and greed from those who want land, then it becomes an unwinnable situation. I do not envy their government at all.
