Sotomayor says she's "uniquely American"

of course it would be for people who wear rose colored glasses..but no matter..I gotta go take a nap after you..

The closest thing to facts that you posted was the remark about polls. Other than that is was just whining and sarcasm.

Have a nice nap.

so today it's called "whining" when you question our government...

You just can't back it up with anything resembling actual facts...we know, that's how you roll.

yawn
and why bother, there isn't a damn thing we can do about..and if it doesn't bother you that she belongs to a racist group La Raza and she is a racist, so be it..

yeah I know, you already said that..I don't think our government was suppose to be set up as having one party overrun the citizens of it's country..but I guess that is where we are headed..

Possibly.

I bet the Founding Fathers never envisioned a day when one party would become so out of touch with mainstream America that it would find itself totally marginalized and without the ability to make even a token defensive stand on issues.

No, its called whining when you say things like:

"Well how about that...

there isn't A DAMN THING WE CAN DO ABOUT IT..

welcome to what used to be the United States of America."

"First we're told there ain't a damn thing we can about it..

then we are told to love it or leave it..

I'm beginning to forget where it is I live.. "

"ok you've worn me out..
we now live in a Banana Republic and I guess we might as well just surrender.."

Your initial comments about her being a bad pick were more along the lines of questioning the government. The comments about La Raza were questioning our government. But neither of those were what I commented on.

I bet they never thought they'd see the day the American citizens would accept a dictatorial government either..but..

as we were told...even by "the Obama" himself.....the Democrats won, now sit down and shut up..

oh for crying out loud...are you really that desperate..
and where do you see whining in any of that..good grief..

oh for crying out loud...are you really that desperate..gawd..

Desperate? I don't have any idea why you would call my posting desperate when I posted your quotes and clarified what I consider whining and what I consider questioning the government.

I call it whining because thats what it is. None of the statements I quoted had anything to do with questioning teh government. They were childish remarks made in a passive-aggressive fit of nonsense.

Show me how President Obama is being "dictatorial"...

If it did (and it doesn't) it would be the ONLY way you could ever give me an orgasm.

Now that we have both veered away from the topic, how about we get back to honest critiques of Judge Sotomayor?

honest? what for...there isn't a damn thing we can do about it..and we gotta love it or leave it.so there is nothing more to say..
except, I'm sure you will find something..

then why the dog and pony show? so sheeple can feel that their government works?

anyone need more ammo?

The dog and pony show is a show of "opposition" which republicans feel compelled to do.

It a futile display for their constituents.

This is how American government "works."

I didn't say anything about "love it or leave it". I was inviting a dialogue about a potential US Supreme Court Justice. But I can see that you have no interest in a dialogue or discussion. I suppose its easier to avoid that and stick with your current game plan.

the polls are showing the citizens in this country do Not want this person seated on the Supreme court..so what do you say about that..we should vote them all out of the country..:pke:
So now we are being governed by mob rules is what you're saying?

That's not what the polls are showing at all.

Broad Support for Sotomayor's Supreme Court Confirmation

Sonia Sotomayor enjoys broad public support for a seat on the U.S. Supreme Court, with large majorities of Americans rejecting the notion that her sex, race or ethnicity play a negative role in how she decides cases as a judge.

Sixty-two percent in this ABC News/Washington Post poll say Sotomayor should be confirmed, among the highest levels of support for a high court nominee in polling data back to Robert Bork in 1987. The only numerically higher was 63 percent initial support for Clarence Thomas, which fell when his nomination turned controversial.

I'm betting that one day you will actually get something right on this board.

In fact, I've got 50 bucks on you, which would bring me about 500 dollars because the odds against you ever getting something right is now 10-1.

:0)

I'm counting on you.

The National Council funded the thousands of protesters in Los Angeles and around the country, with many illegals and legals carrying their own flags. They were protesting the very U.S. immigration laws they were violating. They found it offensive and a violation of their rights that the U.S. dared to have immigration laws to begin with.
Interestingly, and very excellently considering such rights is what this nation was created on, they still have the right to protest against laws they think are unjust. We have no law against anybody at all protesting. It may irritate, but it is very real.

debate what??
there is no reason..it's a done deal..who cares.

So, since its a "done deal" there should be no discussion at all? Sincethe dems have a filibuster proof majority, they will all toe the line and vote as they are told?

If you don't care then I won't bother you.
