So now we need a Ballroom?

What part of the east wing that is bring rebuilt is most upsetting... and why? That's the wonderful thing about historical books....There are pictures if you need to reminisce...
Rebuilt? Trump isn’t rebuilding it, he is tearing it down to build his Trump ballroom

You keep asking the wrong questions “tops”

The American people are not permitted to walk into a lot of publicly owned places anytime they want.

You cannot just walk into a national park, even though they are publicly owned. Access is generally free for walking in, but there are specific rules, regulations, and fees that apply, such as entrance fees for some parks or permits for certain activities. While the land is public, it is managed by the National Park Service, which has its own rules for entry.
You got one right, kudos. I remembered having to pay to get on Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park.

The renovation required removal of the structure...Safety first...
“Tops,” I don’t know how familiar with construction, but before you begin a project you submit plans for relevant authorities to review. And when it comes to National landmarks, especially those in DC, this step is vital, the structures ultimately belong to the American people not the individuals using them at the moment.

Trump did none of this, no one knows what his plans are, what they entail, what they cost, and who will foot the bill. The only source is Trump, and he has already lied on what it will entail, what it will cost, and who will foot the bill. Regardless of your opinion on the “renovation,” you have to recognize that this whole thing has major questions

DC has had a law in effect for over a century that no structure in DC can surpass the Washington Monument in height, the thought being the brilliance and contribution of Washington and the Founders should stand out and be recognized by everyone. So if Trump next year says DC needs a Federal Trump Tower you and your Red Hat Club going to tell us the law shouldn’t stand in the way?

it's a winner.

everyone loves red tape.

:truestory:

No problem:

Proving Trump lied is like asking to prove that babies cry, easier than passing a hot knife thru butter
The East Wing housed the First Ladies offices. He probably figured it wasn’t needed anymore based on the current First Lady.
