Trumppers think freedom means being allowed to do anything they individually want.
That includes practicing their prejudices.

I've only spent a little time looking at investments in Florida so I'm not well versed on the state. But I'm willing to bet a fair sum of money that your process is still nothing like California and you don't have a CEQA law equivalent that allows really any group to stop anything you do.
For someone not from California you wouldn't understand what happens here so you don't really have a frame of reference.

This happens in the Bay Area because what you do effects so many others
Gee imagine that
You are crammed in like sardines
It’s a good law that protects peoples rights

Since when does freedom prevent the freedom of accepting help from the government in a national disaster? The premise of the OP is dumb.are Floridians now looking to the Government to help them recover or are they still boasting “freedom,” and doing it without the Government? Does DeSantis now embark upon the big government he supposedly opposes to address the need?
Yes babies have the freedom to have life just like you. It's a great thing.Recreational Marijuana is legal in California.
Recreational Marijuana is illegal in Florida.
Abortion is openly accessible in California.
Abortion is strictly regulated in Florida.
Just two examples off the top of my head.

The question was not what state you would chose, it was what state is more free.
can you buy something other than "green" gasoline in California.......in a few years will you be able to buy anything other than an electric car in California?......
They don't want you to buy gas burning ovens or heaters.I'll bet you can't even buy a gas powered weedwacker or lawn mower in CA. I'm free to buy one here in PA.
He's an exponent of contemporary Right wing attitudes - a "philosophy" is beyond them - that government is there when you need it, to stomp on when you're feeling you don't.
No, he said Florida is "THE free state." As if only his version of freedom counts.

I have said many times that I am glad Oklahoma is not like California in terms of governance.
And it is not even close when it comes to non-coastal residences in Florida vs. non-coastal residences in California from what I have read and listened to.
Well, to be honest, his version is what counts to him and the people who voted for him because he stood for that version. I have said many times that I am glad Oklahoma is not like California in terms of governance.
But that is not based on pure freedom, just what restrictions you prefer, and what freedoms are valuable to you.
That’s my point…though admittedly I didn’t not state it clearly. There are “certain” things you are more inclined to restrict and I am more inclined to lessen restrictions on … and vice versa. It’s the ongoing battle between the two sides of the political aisle.
