Should we wall off the beaches?

Cameras weren't available in the colonial era in the US, were they?

We know where the towns were built. Take a look at historic Charleston, DC, Newark, Boston etc... they are all well off the water. You can certainly see photos of their location. I do get your point that there aren't actual photos from that time. Sorry for confusing you on that.

No evidence?

Dismissed with prejudice.

OH MY!!

“I am proud to shut down the government for border security, Chuck, because the people of this country don’t want criminals and people that have lots of problems and drugs pouring into our country. So I will take the mantle. I will be the one to shut it down. I’m not going to blame you for it…. I will take the mantle of shutting down.”

The last refuge of a desperate person.

Asking for data is a sign of a desperate person? Or perhaps avoiding backing up ones claims is the sign of a desperate person?

So you just take everyone's word for anything they say? Thanks again for displaying the depth of your ignorance.

I see.

I recommend this scholarly work for a glimpse into the science of coastal erosion:

Now you can see why Brad is virtually unknown in the south Florida legal community.

Demanding data when you do not dispute what was said, is a diversion tactic.

No moron. Demanding you back up your position with actual facts is not diversion. I am asking that you support the position you put forth. Exactly how is that diverting? You fucking idiot.

Do you always take a position before knowing anything about the topic?

I have the data, I have been on a boat to the Bahamas from here several times and I have seen illegals appear on our beaches many times. I know people who make money going and getting them and delivering them to the United States. It is a common occurrence without much media attention.

Then produce the data. Your anecdotal, unsubstantiated experiences are not data.

So you know people who are actively breaking the law? As an officer of the court, you have obviously notified authorities of their illegal actions? Or are you aiding and abetting counselor?

This is undoubtedly one of the MOST ABSURD and most LACKING parts of this fucking ruse of Trump screaming about DRUGS 'crossing the border'. I live in FLORIDA. Do you know how many drugs have been flown over, sailed over, 'docked', dropped, and even washed ashore here? These were 'APB' events for locals (and not just the kids) to run to the beaches when taped bundles of pot and coke were reported on the beach. (TRUE!)

The technology today has be FANTASTIC to avoid detection. Speed boats, private planes, parachute drops, gliders, light craft, and all with precision electronics. And shit I'm SURE I haven't even thought of. And I'm betting if it ain't here yet, DRONES will be able to travel the distance with their 'loads' across the Gulf very soon.

The LARGEST $$ value drug 'package' ever to 'wash up on our shores' (I'm assuming at one time or one month) was in St. Augustine, just 5 years ago. Remember we only know about the shit that got dumped or dropped.

As a place with a large water-based landscape, Florida is no stranger to drugs washing up on the coast. Whereas drugs are beginning to show up on Florida's northern beaches, Broward and Dade counties have been the primary places. 70,000 pounds were found in 2009, 39,000 in 2011, 78,000 pounds in 2012 in Broward and Dade counties. On the beaches of St. Augustine area in St. Johns County, in May 2013 $7 million worth of cocaine washed up, followed by 16 kilos of cocaine that September.
