Me either, but why mention the religion, would it be different if they were Jews or Buddhists? I don't want to see my kids or weapons of the United States being used to kill anyone!

He's talking about giving the "rebels" the weapons, the rebels happen to be systematically killing Christians (along with trying to take over the government). So, he related it to real time events. Had they been slaughtering Jews he'd have said that.

weapons would be those light weapons that never got there.

There are so many sources of weapons the Libyan ones. SA's giving heavy weapons. Iran. I would assume they flood in from everywhere.

DAMOCLES does make the point the rebels have been killing Christians ( the guys we support) -so it does seem to be more then the headline.

I don't think so Damocles.

First, where do you get your information that the rebels are killing Christians.
Second, if he were talking about arming rebels why did he include "my kids"?
Third, nobody has suggested arming the rebels, he was discussing the proposed attack on Syria.

That was meant for domestic consumption in his home State and Kentucky does have a lot of KKKristians.

So let me take out the part about the weapons...

Damocles, are you seriously going to play word games in an attempt to justify this bigotry? Are you really that in love with Randal Paul?
 
Also remember he said this on the Huckabee show... to an evangelical audience.

You don't think. But that's beside the point.

I get that from stories like this one:

And he mentioned his kids because they could be in the military. He doesn't want to see boots on the ground (his kids) or the rebels getting weapons from us that can be used to attack the Christians who are not participating in the hostilities but are still being killed and kidnapped.

He related his life to those in another nation, my guess is you would cheer on some idiot wearing a Democrat Jersey for doing the same.
